I have no insight. But just suspecting maybe a nagging injury from the start of the season and or just resting him up for playoffs? That’s my guess.

If it's an injury I suppose I can see it but then why not just sit him and let him heal properly for the postseason? Resting him with first on the line just seems counterproductive.

Can someone explain to me why we didn't stop running a 3 man front the whole game? 

Blue wins first place with:

A 3 point lead over the second place team and advantage with winning the season series.

A 4 point lead over the third place team and advantage with winning the season series.

After losing the first four games, then a record of 2 - 6, and winning 9 of their final 10 games, they earn 1st.

And, the loss to Toronto 2 weeks ago, is now irrelevant. 
 

IMO, the Bombers might be the hottest team in the league. Each game this year has been meaningful. Not a bad way to host the Western Final.

We did use a 40 a decent chunk. The real problem was the 2 Canadian dl with 3 or 4 and with multiple combinations of alignments (Jake once even at wide 5 tech) was all bad. The all imp 30 was good, would’ve been better if Adam’s wasn’t having to play nose when both fox and woods were banged up.

I dont understand that either...especially when we seemed to load the lineup for a run attack...I think it's maybe preventative maintenance so come WF...he's balls to the wall

I do think tho with some tose short yardage under center hand offs to BO we doing that to set up a naked QB roll out around the end for an easy walk in the endzone, or a nice long gainer when it's just a regular second and short somewhere....the one dive on the goaline he could have moonwalked in....

my thoughts......it's because this staff gets too locked in and believes that from some success...that it's the only way to go...even when ugly shittyassed win gloss over the deficiency...we have seen it over and over in other areas

yeah...the sets with Schmecthomas are just painful to watch....so inept and useless and we get gouged and gouged...stop it alreay

With Kelly at S, and 3 total ni dbs starting, 3 starting ni ol, 2 wrs, and 1 rb we should never see 2 ni dl on the field at the same time. Take Kelly off for an imp and slam in one ni dt for a package 10-15 times a game. Other wise dl should be all imp. Especially when we run 30.

based on roster...we should never see any until Lawson returns

@DTonOB do you know or can yu find out how many starting nationals we declare on each side of the ball for a game...

Yup. Honestly with Hubert next year and Samson. The only point to bring back schmek is to convert him to offence. Thomas shouldn’t play again. 
 

I like Adam’s a lot but he struggled in his snaps at 0 in the 30. He’s much better at 3i, or really any other dl tech. They’ve been using him more as an end this year than a nose and that’s a tough transition to just switch.

For a guy who’s only played a few games, Fox sure gets hurt a lot.

thats good as most have no teeth and ones who do prob need to back off with the sugars

Man there's a lot of confidence around here considering that we've looked like hot steaming garbage for much of the last two games. Particularly alarming was how bad the defense was today. I definitely feel concerned going into the WF....

Speaking only for myself...I'm not at all confident...but I am old enough to know you have to take and appreciate enjoyment where/when you find it...cuz life can be a real b*tch sometimes.

I'm not overly confident....for reasons mentioned again and again

We don't seem to learn real fast and it's an alarming trait...if our coaches can pull heads outta arse....then we should be oksy....we have failed 2 seasons in a row due to coaching....lets not make it 3

I’m not really all that confident, I just can’t pass up an opportunity to make cheap Saskatchewan jokes. 

The interior OL alone negates any confidence I’d have. 

The Gracious Gust totally saved us pages and pages of talking about how godawful Kolo and Neufeld looked again.
