Any day in Regina is a good day to win, even with all our rookies out in full force. It’s all a matter of pride.

Today I want to watch (through my radio) three things:

Eric Barrierre at quarterback. I want to see if his credentials have anything to do with the Bomber’s future. I fully expect we will have four QB’s kicking around at season open. He might become the new “lady in waiting”!

Chidi Okeke at right tackle. I want to see if he’s the new apprentice that we are hoping for, that might be a key cog in our Hog Heaven. I expect In a better we will be starting Lofton at RT as the season starts.

Our linebacker schemes. I’m assuming Kyrie Wilson will be one of the two middle linebackers in a basic 4=4=4 defensive structure. Outside of Gauther, I want to see who/what else we can put in those middle two spots. Are they going to take a peek at Brandon Alexander there,  or is he just too small? This is the one place that we look just too skinny. This is THE one big challenge for our new defensive coordinator, methinks...

I don’t care how much the coaches say it doesn’t matter who wins. To me it matters, kind of a lot. Beating the Roughie’s will set the tone not only for our rookies, but for our vets at home too. Preseason does matter for a lot more than just player evaluation.

Yeah Agree. Zach a half plus a drive, Strevy till maybe half way through the 4th depending.

Good with Strev. Ok with Wilson. Barriere moved the ball 12 yards in 2 quarters. That’s the difference. Sask has really done nothing.  All of the riders points appears to be mainly off interceptions thrown by barriere. Not pick 6 but pretty much.

It doesn't matter who the coach is for the Riders... They're just dirtbags. What a dumb celebration on the fumble. You'd think they won the Western Final.

This game has shown me that I’ll never ever complain about Derek Taylor and Doug Brown ever.

Dave Thomas is ok. Mullinder tho acting like the riders win the cup after every play is a bit much tho. 

All in all, I remembered how much I love watching the Bombers and how much I hate everything about the province of Saskatchewan, and especially the Riders. I'm very excited about the Bombers 1s when everyone is healthy. It's gonna be a good year....

Our O was ranked number 1 In most categories was it not? Not sure our O was the problem most games. Special teams were a huge problem.

100% agree with this. Thomas is a nice change of pace for CKRM... Very professional. Mullinder just sounds so dumb.

First half was ok. Really. If you could eliminate barrieres 2 quarters it was ok. Barriere really was awful. Like dude couldn’t throw a basic pass.

They should be really concerned that their 1st string O and 1st string D laid giant eggs against our all rookie lineups. This may have been a win for the Riders but they should not be feeling good about it. Their first stringers were not good.

from my early take on what just seen...We will be better at QB2....Dline....Linebacker....Oline will be strong as ever....Receivers the same....running attack better....I think our defensive philosophy will be a much more aggressive attackig one than what Hall liked....I feel good from what I saw even from a pared down vanilla package....we put the right guys on the fielD on defense we are gonna have so many options and looks...it could be scary

Wilson as QB 3 may be a nice guy to develop here....Love his body type for QB up here...coverage team scares me again...but maybe with more of the regulars in their role, and addition of guys like Moses...Gemmel..Pertrishen we may surprise
