Who knows...there will be like 700 inactive guys on NFL rosters between injury lists and PR.  If he sticks on a PR down there for 2 weeks he'd make more than he would here for the rest of the season.  Even if he gets here for the Banjo Bowl he's got 7 game cheques in the CFL and signing here he's taken himself completely away from the possibility of getting with a NFL team in the 2025 season.

But waiting and hoping...even getting a look before signed...pays him nothing too...plus hes made nothing as of yet this yr...so yeah tough call for him...smart move is to come up I think

Even if they gave him $200,000 CAD pro-rated he's got like $80,000 Canadian plus playoff money for the rest of the season.  That's 4 weeks of NFL PR salary.

He's a guy that made a nice NIL nut too at Florida State.  I don't think he's desperate for a few game cheques in Canadian dollars.

Yeah true...but he also has to be realistic with himself...can't knock him from trying/hoping tho

It's too bad the CFL doesn't let guys go once the season is done up here.  He signs up here and he basically takes himself out of the 2025 NFL season.  However large or small the chance of him snagging a PR spot down there is.

An early cut of a team with a poor receiving corps. That phone isn't going to ring from any other NFL team.

He needs current game film that may entice another team next year. He's a UDFA early cut with no value to STs..he's not in demand.

Nope...nothing invested in him..and he just a run of mill guy down there...his smart move really for this yr is to get up here asap
