Remaining Schedule

@MTL

VS. HAM

@SSK

VS. MTL

@CGY

VS. CGY

Considering we haven't lost at home in 9 games i'm going to go out on a limb and say we win our remaining ones this year plus one of the away games to finish 13-5.

Should be enough for 1st in the West. Go Bombers

  • Lots of "I'm worried about this team or that team" right now.  Here's my take; we only need to worry about 1 team.  The Bombers.  If they're on, there isn't a team that can run with them.  Period.  So

  • Okay, Debbie.

  • Hasn't Montreal beat Edmonton and Calgary already...  I wouldn't take them lightly.

I’d be satisfied with one win, October 5th at the toilet bowl. We need to go in there and destroy them in their turf.

I see no reason why we don’t win 4 or 5 of them though.

The beauty of it all...when we come back from bye week we will still be in first and up a win on either CGY or sask..and my bet it is cgy

Montreal scares me...  Adams and Khari could really get on a roll against Hall or he gets destroyed by our DL...  wild card

I'd say 4-2

Yeah, I think it's Calgary who the Bombers need to keep an eye on. That last home game on Oct 25th could be for 1st place.

It will be interesting if the Bombers do clinch 1st as they have a bye for the last week and then would get another bye for the 1st round of playoffs. At least their next game would be at home and the fans could help them get back into game mode and not have a sluggish start.

Gotta beat SK and at least split with Calgary to get the season series'

Is Nichols back for the Saskatchewan game ?..... I know he is to be re-evaluated... but if he was good to go ?

don't misunderestimate the Allouettes.

I don't think they will take Nichols off the 6 game early. That's a lot to pay a guy for 1 game.

I believe the Bombers save 75K for every 6 games Nichols is on the injured list.

And we are not in dire need, either.

Plus we gotta cheer for them next week.....

Three weeks sure changes a lot in the world of a football team eh....

Sask cant handle Strev so why would you not start him..and he would have had several more games to develop by then..I can see another pummeling in their barn

MOS is old school & loyal to his players. Starters don't lose their jobs to injury.  If Nichols was able to play then I'm confident he'd start him.

Just make the playoffs, then win out.

A lot easier to do in 1st place :)

The Riders are trash and their D is massively overrated. Nichols would light them up, too... As with the RBs, Argos, etc earlier this year...

Mtl, I totally agree. We are so good against the run, but Stanback is just a different animal.

Tough to say- MOS has shown in the past that he is resistant to make changes after a win.

Win at Sask and one vs Calgary pretty much guarantees home playoff game and pretty good shot at first too.  In the long run 2nd place might be best spot for a run with bye final week.

Yup that bye scares the crap out of me

I say we split with Mtl and cal, beat Ham and Sask. Finish 13-5.

But the way the team is grinding out games and competitive in every game they could easily win out. How sick does 15-3 sound!

I don't believe the Montreal hype ti be honest. That is a team that needs their running back to have a good game and we have the team that just shuts down a run game. As the riders how running against the Bombers goes.

Our defensive line and front 7 in general are just too good. The guys I worry about vs. Our D are the experienced QBs.
