Number 2 Pivot: Who Steps Up?

BC - Ricky Lloyd and first-year Leos Austin Apodaca and Cole Sears will handle the quarterback reps in hopes of getting a leg up on sticking behind Reilly on the depth chart. 

Edmonton- Danny O’Brian, Logan Kilgore, Briscoe.

- One big observation in the first week of camp is the depth at receiver. Standouts at the position have included Joey Augustin, Marquis Bundy and Mexican additions Fernando Richarte and Gerardo Alvarez. All CFL clubs are required to keep one global player on their roster beyond training camp.

- Defensive Line: Calling On Another Bookend

With Odell Willis having another strong showing in camp, the big question remains who will line up as the other bookend.

- Linebacker Adam Konar gets to battle some of his own teammates after he was cut loose and quickly picked up by the Lions on day one of camp. He’ll start at MLB

I don't think so?  Best they can do is 10-8 and that's the worst we can be, but we won the season series against them.

Don't think that will change much. Harris pretty much tanked the whole season anyways.

Fajardo Doesn't suck but there are still some question marks with his game (can he throw a consistent deep ball?) And can he perform in a pressure game but it is still a good signing for your team no doubt. Strange he would not wait till the offseason to get as much as he could as a FA, but better the guarantee i guess for him.

Fajardo is that middle of the road quarterback. Won't put the team on his back and win games single handedly but will win if he has a complete team around him.

According to the Riders site - it is a two year deal at $450K per year. Not sure what to think about it - however the Riders see him as their future I guess.

I agree.  But I don't feel there are very many if any immature and insulting posters here.... and it made me think of some of them over at riderfans who are ridiculous.  So for a riderfans regular to come here and say that made me laugh.  

There are very few Bo Levi Mitchells and Mike Rielly's. Of the young starters Streveller Evans Fajardo and Adams. More than likely Evans and Adams are the two closest to becoming the next guys in the league. Arbuckle has a chance to but would be interesting to see out of Calgary and how he would do in a different system.

Farjardo and the Riders offense is ****....period.

I dunno about Davis, he had an entire year to impress and basically made nothing of it.

I guess $450,000 is the going rate for a starting QB but I don't see Fajardo as a guy I'd want long term as a starter. He seems more of a mid tier guy at best. Not the MOP candidate that TSN touts.

Fair Enough - I post over on RiderFans.com but am very careful what I post as they do tend to be very sensitive etc. But heck at least Nasty Nate AKA Lyle.E.Style is no longer welcome there.
