Home/Road: The Bombers are 2-2 on the road; Calgary is 4-0 at home.
Series: The Stamps lead the all-time series (since 1945) 110-91-0.
Recent history: This is the first meeting between the two clubs in 2018. The Bombers did win in their last visit to Calgary, with a 23-5 victory in wintry conditions last November 3rd in the regular season finale for both teams. Worth noting: the starting QBs in that game were Dan LeFevour for the Bombers (subbing for an injured Matt Nichols), and Andrew Buckley for the Stamps (who elected to rest Bo Levi Mitchell for the playoffs).

Second week in a row Harris has been repeatedly, repeatedly, stuffed running straight dive plays up the gut. You'd think they'd try something else after awhile. He looks slow and plodding. Is he hurt? Even when he gets a bit of space he's neutralized. We need some misdirection. Also, the O needs some other legit run threats to keep opponents guessing. Which is why Streveler and Flanders should start next game, along with Harris and Demski.

Real easy to stop the run when you can’t pass.

Richie Hall will fall this week. But there are deeper problems.

O’Shea rarely calls out players. And I have heard him refer to coaches having to be better. Two games like we just had warrant something more than “it’s a team game ...” Hall should be gone next season, but, so will a bunch of players if this keeps up.

The amount of passes up the middle to wide open guys, was scary...

Real easy to stop everything when there's no playaction...  Lapo was using it ALL the time early in the season - where did it go the last two games

7 runs for Harris - one was a ridiculous wildcat play - getting sick of Lapo's trick plays, just execute the basics already...

Richie Hall D - its been this way for what... a decade...???

Hall needs a ridiculously athletic LB crew to make up for the shortcomings of his plays - if they miss once, they start falling into chase mode and can't recover for the whole game

Then Hall still reverts back to using Bighill like he's Sam Hurl...

And you always come running to his defense because you have some kind of love for him that blinds you to how bad a coach he is. What's really bothering you is that for years I've been saying MOS is not a good coach and you just can't admit it and/or that I was right or that you were wrong.

Who sees the team bouncing back from this real low point? Not sure I do.

I am sensing some resignation...saw Harris after another pounding by five tacklers, just lying on the turf.

Um the guy left the field... probably with a concussion.

These last two games we are starting to see some mistakes in the basic fundamentals, I it think that is what MOS was referring to when he said the players need to be better. Randle for example didn't get any sort of jam on Michel at the line on his TD and then he and two other Bomber didn't even attempt to tackle Jorden on his TD. This is a really bad sign that the players heads just aren't into the game. There has to be a shake up of some sort. To quote Kavis 'consequences'!

oh, oh no, didn't realize that at all. 

Thought I was lucky being in Wisconsin, during the Ottawa game. Watching today, sort of wished I was still back there.

 

I actually thought the Bombers could win this game.

Or at least be competitive.

They got massacreed.

The consequences, of course, were that Kavis ended up being gone. If MOS can't see that Hall needs to go then he may be next.

The offence was a treat and kept defences off balance when Flanders and Harris were on the field at the same time.
