BC LIONS @ HAMILTON TIGER-CATS ?

BC LIONS @ HAMILTON

Is there a disconnect between Collaros and Austin? One says execution is the problem (Austin) and the the other says there are changes every week that they have to get used to. (Collaros)     3downnation staff

CFL - GAME NOTES

- This is the Ticats 1st home game.

- The Lions are in the midst of 3 straight road games back in the East Division - it is the FIRST TIME in 64 years of club history that they have played three consecutive games in their schedule all away in the East.

  • Solomon Elimimian now has 15 career games of 10+ defensive tackles in 99 career games
  • The Ti-Cats and Lions have played 10 times since 2012 and BC holds a 7 wins to 3 edge including a current win streak of 3 consecutive games. They have not lost to Hamilton with Jonathon Jennings as their starting QB (3-0) while Zach Collaros is 2-1 vs BC for Hamilton (the Ti-Cats lost both times they played BC without him in the lineup).
  • In two games thus far, Hamilton has led for only 5:02 of play and trailed for 104:19 out of the 120:00 game clock total.
  • The Lions have scored 48 out of their 78 total points in the 4th Quarter
  • Hamilton Offence - 416 in two games

?‍? We could really use a little help from the Ticats, but looking at how both teams have played so far this year, expecting a Ticat win may be a little optimistic???

Anyways. Go Ticats Go!

This is all on Austin.

I'd be surprised if he survives this year, Ticat fans are going to turn on him.

Nick Moore is up to 10 catches for 220 yards

oh my lanta I just avoided my 4th strike with that johnson TD... im coming for you atomic!

He was my pick as well

Saved my f***ing ass in Lock Of The Week.... Just finished our late game in a slopitch tourney and first thing I did was look to see what all happened tonight... Whew.

Best thing that happened to the Lions was Jennings getting hurt. Austin will cut the guy who injured Jennings.

506 yards

386 yards

436 yards

Passing numbers against Hamilton in 3 weeks. Id say Reinbold is the problem.

442 yard average against per game. Thats crazy.

Ya, maybe he sucks as a coach, but he sure looks good on his motorcycle and ultimately, isn't that what's really important?

...add the Collaros happy feet, and things are not looking good in Steeltown

Easy to blame the defence but the offence going 2-and-out four times in a row didn't help.  Defence gave them the ball back on 3 interceptions but the Ticats offence couldn't capitalize.

meh I don't remember him being anything special when he did play for us. We basically replaced him with Dressler which I'm more then happy with

?‍?That's the Nick Moore we wanted to see. But you still need a QB.

?‍? And this is why you ask to play Eastern teams early in the year…

Drew Edwards

Opposing quarterbacks passing yards vs #Ticats thus far this season:

506 yards

380 yards

436 yards

#CFL - This game makes it West 8 wins 2 losses and a tie against the East

more happy with dresssler, certainly. but hes allways been a guy who flashed a lot of potential.

Never was a Moore fan. He was a total disappointment here. Always injured. Didn't contribute much.

maybe as a 2nd or 3rd option like he was tonight (I'm sure Arceneaux and Burnham were getting the bulk of Hamilton's best DB attention) In Winnipeg he was looked upon as our #1 and IMO never really delivered.

Probably the truth is somewhere in the middle. When does Collaros's contract expire? He may want out.

Hamilton - no big play receivers, they don't use the running game, the OL is average at best, DL seems to have taken a big step back, linebackers are barely average (who is Larry Dean and what happened to Simoni Lawrence?  Invisible out there), and their secondary is just plain awful.  The team literally has zero points of strength.  Even Collaros looks lost.  I don't see how they win more than 3 games this season without some major changes.

Well I wouldn't be quick to write off an Austin coached team yet.. still very early and I have seen him turn a team around in a hurry.

Ti Cats looked like they had early in the game then like a balloon with a slow leak, they just deflated as a team.

Banks isn't scaring anyone these days, either
