Jokes aside, I suspect that Foster asked for a trade and Buono is simply doing his friend Buck a solid. 

 

Remember Buono released Buck years ago simply because he couldn't stay healthy .... what exactly has changed since then? I think Buck is done/cut/retired after the season is over.

 

I'm going to miss Buck's potato chips though. 

I hope BC traded for that god awful Danny's Whole Hog franchise too.

Danny and Bucks restaurant which is the old Hus on first. I went once and thought it was great. Definitely better then Woody's and Famous Dave's. No idea why the hate?

We've hardly seen Watson at 100% since his rookie season.  He has a good game every now and then and is a tough football player, he blocks well, but really he probably doesn't have much left in the tank as a solid contributor, although Ottawa coming in will help extend his career.  If we can get a NI better than what we've got at another position or a high draft pick (top 2 rounds) for him I'd take it no questions asked.

I'm excited for Levi brown vs hall next year. Excited about our Canuck reciting depth. I hope we're still trying to get a good Canuck o-lineman. If Walters can do that, he'll have my vote for GM for sure, as well as everybody else's.

This is the freaking steal of a decade.  Pierce had the trade value of a used football...and not even one that was gently used.

 

I LOVE what Walters has done so far.  He's winning me over, and quickly.  If he promises to get rid of the coaching staff, I might be sold on him.

Why should I be disappointed to see Buck go?

 

He'll still live here in the offseason, he's a homeowner with a Winnipeg business and a Winnipeg girlfriend. All the good stuff he brings to Winnipeg will still be here.

 

And now he's gone from our football team.

 

That's a win-win in my books.

I liked Pierce, but he had to go. To get this much value for him is fantastic.

Buck was well paid NOT to  play all too often. Yeah, he gave a lot for the Bombers but it's a business. It was getting horrific watching him play as our starting qb... He has a new chance in BC. Hope he does great.

No, not really. We're just enjoying the win... for a change. And beating the Riders, of course. Anyone checked  out Riderfans to see if it has imploded?

Before the game they were gloating how some Prider buried a Rider banner somewhere at IGF. How'd that work out  for them? Their fanbase is really made up  of a huge percentage of  morons.
