Why would the Riders mean more to every person employed in the CFL? The CFLs cash cow is the TSN contract. The Riders don't share their profits with the league. The sense of entitlement from the fans of "Canada's team" is unreal. The lack of respect their organisation showed to the league is what is an embarrassment. Pretty sure TSN can see the ratings by market and am pretty sure that if they didn't get numbers in BC, Alberta and Ontario (especially), the deal wouldn't be as large or exist at all. Taxes also dont have the be paid till the end of the year, as long as the gov't gets its money at some point theyll be appeased.
