KptKrunch got a reaction from bb.king in O'Shea hands away the LDC
Well overall I thought the officiating was terrible, and not just on the field. Does anyone know an email I can send my complaint to? That non PI call on the first drive was far more blatant than the Bucknor one in Toronto that was called. A hand in the back (Bucknor) that you couldn't see vs a swat down on the left shoulder/arm of a receiver PLUS a push Out-Of-Bounds prior to the ball getting there - insuffiicent evidence?

What I'd like to know (and I know still to this day it happened in Ritchie's time) is what the officials have against the Bombers? I know we get some calls our way too, and personally I'm not going to moan about the missed holding calls (Herman TACKLING Anderson on the last drive that the receivers were also off side on was the most obvious - the Wild hold on the Sk TD was in the middle of the play and just missed I get that - but that one not called??? really?????????) as shite happens like that.

However, I'm proud of the way we played - I watched the whole game (was at a family bbq so I pvr'd it and stayed up till 4 am) and we hung in to the end. At the beginning of year, that's all I asked for, vs last year's debacle (and the year before) where most games, especially the Labour Day one - were over by the 1st quarter.

Yes SK fans - you got us twice now, but compared to last year - we're coming, and we coming fast. Enjoy while you can as next year, the officials won't be able to help you either.

This is a team sport, win or lose, this Bomber team shows courage, determination, grit and a no quit attitude.

Something that has not been seen for a few years with the Bombers.

The 2014 Bombers are going in the right directions, their always will be roster changes to strengthen all positions.

However we have QB that has boundless potential, I enjoy watching him and this team's  character and determination

I for one look forward to the rematch in Winnipeg

Relax.  It was an excellent game that could have gone either way.  The referees were bad but they definitely blew calls both ways.

This is what we're missing this year and missed last year. We need a true #1 threat - and Moore is it if he's healthy. He proved early on to be that good but then got hurt and though a 'foot' doesn't sound terrible if it keeps you out three games you know it is bad. Hard to run when you have a bad foot, and now a knee. Football is a tough game and sometimes these things happen. Maybe we'll get another 'Moore' from NFL cuts.

Can't believe some of the comments of us not 'needing' Hall or "Hall doesn't fit in Etch's defense". Reminds me, a few years ago, when we had a  young Canadian Olineman at guard and some poster here (same one maybe?) went on a bit of a rant on how 'overrated' he was and he wasn't even the 3rd best olineman on our team (or something to that affect). The following season was his last here, and signed at home and all Brendon Labatte is now is (arguably) the best Canadian Olineman in the CFL. Yep - don't sign Hall - we don't need him... Phuuuuuulease

Change divisions for what purpose?  Because the last place team in the West being left out of the playoffs isn't fair?  Here's what's fair - don't finish last and then ***** about not making the playoffs!

The CFL is already somewhat of a regional sport, bolstered by massive popularity in the prairies.  If you think it's in the best interests of the league to deal another blow to the fanbases in the east, I'm going to outright call you short-sighted and naive.  The only team drawing loyal interest right now is the expansion franchise.  They have 1 win and don't play very entertaining football.  How long before these very important factors take the shine off the new toy in town?  Probably right around the time the temperatures drop.  Is the corporate sponsorship and big TSN deals going to continue once all the eastern teams are officially turned into third nipples?  Nope.

If you own a chicken, and every day that chicken gives you an egg to eat, and it will continue to do so indefinitely, why would you stick your hand up that chicken's butt and try to rip out the next day's egg?  Guess what, you just killed your chicken.  Enjoy that extra egg.

Really, why? Did you ever see him make a solo tackle? I never did, not once, and if anyone did I'd love to see it in YouTube. I've seen him run over and have his tackles broken many times, anytime he was in on the play actually. As for coverage? Well, refer to point #1 again, I only saw those broken/missed/steamrolled into the turf plays about 3 or 4 times a games, as the other times he was usually on the opposite side of the field of where the ball was. Has about as much football sense as my wife. There's a lot of players that deserve another shot. Cauchy is not one of them. The man should move on the next phase of his life and concentrate on that, he is NOT a pro football player.

Truer words could not have been spoken - we don't need to know what he's doing or how he's doing it. Last time that happened, the team was in a shambles. How does Calgary run? Edmonton? Saskatchewan? You never hear about their background office stuff either (very rarely anyway).

We don't know what Miller does behind the scenes. He may be real effective but does so in anonymity because we don't see him everyday. I think the less we see of him the better the team is doing. I would like that golf course made into a parking lot but the U of M has other plans. You'd think they'd be willing to forego some of that land to be used for parking but these are academics in ivory towers we're talking about here... They have other plans.

I'm not discouraged in the least. We should have won that Rider game but that's ok because we should have lost the Hamilton game. The Argo game doesn't discourage me, it just pisses me off. Talk about handing the Argos a free win on the bingo card. One day of practice, only four days of rest, of course we ran out of gas by the fourth quarter. And just to ensure the thievery, the idiot ref calls back our TD to Romby on a questionable "hands to the face" call, and that PI call on Bucknor was a national disgrace. Someone at the Command Center should be fired for that garbage. Why shitty calls go against us year in and year out, I'll never know. Why the Bombers get picked to be the sacrificial lambs for Toronto last Tuesday is crap. It's like the league knows no matter how the Bombers get screwed, the fans will just keep coming back and taking it, so why not pick on the Bombers, the consequences are minimal.
And now BC, our Western rivals, get to manhandle a tired Argo team on Sunday and a free spot on the card for them. No coincidence that both teams are owned by the same guy either.
I just hope that now with 10 days rest and a chance to draw some breath, the Bombers come out next week and pound Montreal right into the turf. If that doesn't happen, then I will start to be discouraged.

I don't care who we have in the back field. When they are met by two defenders as soon as they get the ball. They ain't going anywhere. If anything they should be trying some runs to the outside.

and a big fat no to Allen. The guy had one decent game against a hamilton team that looked like they didn't know they were playing that day.

Who really cares, our oline sucks, Without an oline, messam is invisible, Seriously he has one good half against the bombers and all of a sudden he's some superstar running back? Please man, there was a reason he wasn't starting and still isn't starting... Dude had one good half, let's not get ridiculous and if you don't think the OLINE plays a role in what a running back does, you are crazy, sask leads the league in rushing, it's no coincidence they have the best oline in the league too.

Yeah, I just watched this game. Picked SK to win so wasn't surprised. Why (did I pick them to win)? Easy - defending Grey Cup champs against, by far, the worst team in the league - last year. Boy, have we ever come a long way from last year, and 5 - 2 (now) is as sweet now as it would have been if I told you we'd be 5 - 2 after 7 games in May.

Coach - not sure on your comment here? What does that prove? Chick is, arguably, the best dlineman in the CFL. He'd school any tackle in this league, so what's your point. You're a half empty guy?

Blitzmore - gets it - glass half full guy. I don't care about the the one on one battles - they are the Grey Cup Champs - and are a superior team to us. So what? Last year this game would have been over by the 10 minute mark.

Can't wait till Labour Day - you can bet Drew will have something to prove after this game.
