I don't necessarily agree with this... different coaches have different strategies... I think it is unwise to use the media to call out players, and clearly Mike O'Shea operates that way also... and I'm happy he's that way... but some players respond to public criticism and some coahces have successfully manipulated them this way... Something to consider (this is not directed at you)... Bill Belichick is (arguably) the best coach in pro football history... how often does he publicly call out players?.... and for those wondering, he has, reportedly, ripped Brady on many occasions during team meetings and film sessions... he'll never go to the media and say Tom Brady fcked this up... but you can guarantee Tom will hear about it behind closed doors...

just want to comment on these two for now... Calgary - what do you do?? You've clearly built one of the best teams in the league but can't close on the big stage... look for another QB??... I guess they would need to do some tinkering... but realistically they should be back-to-back champs right now.... Sask - Are you just speculating Carter is leaving or does he have legitimate NFL interest?... IMO he has NFL talent and barely a peewee brain...

Congrats to the Argos... happy for Ricky Ray, he;s one of my all-time favourite CFL QBs... very happy that Lirim got the game winning FG... I always liked him too... But the Stamps... what a bunch of chokers.... Kamar Jordan might be the biggest anomaly on that team... had around 100 yards and a TD, then a game changing fumble in the red zone... on the final drive he drops one right in his hands, then on the very next play he catches an over-the-shoulder, diving catch.... great player, but tough to rely on that kind of inconsistency... The last play of the game... they didn't necessarily need to go safe and hand-off... but there's no reason to go endzone there... there was 20 seconds and they had a time out... check down if nothing is open, give it one more try and if it fails kick the FG and go to OT...

I'm pretty sure Toronto does have fans... they just don't go to the stadium... Mitch Marner and Austin Matthews were there... so naturally TSN's lead story is about how Marner is an Argo's fan and Babcock is from Sask... far more important than the game itself...

This is a good idea... the CFL should go to a curling-style format... double knockout for the west... single for the east... B-side winner (east) plays A-side runner up... I'm sure you're already aware of this... but something to keep in mind... Bomber were 2-0 vs Edm this year and Sask was 2-0 vs Tor this year... This sounds familiar... see below

I actually think people are being kind to Maas right now... I was watching that game with some family and I was discussing with my uncle when that play happened... neither of us could come up with any logical reason to kick the FG there... even if you don't make 3rd and 4, you turn the ball over and still need to force a 2 and out... it just doesn't make any sense, even after days of reflection... I was strongly opposed to O'Shea's decision to kick a 61 yarder in Vancouver last year... but at least it made sense... the FG ties the game... this one had absolutely zero logic attached to it...

I guess I see the point but I would argue this picture looks worse than what actually happened... in this pic it looks like Butler is clothes-lining Glenn at full speed... but what actually happened is he pulled away from the hit and brushed his arm along Glenn's chest... so in reality, this picture proves nothing...

(1) Having an Imp MLB would require putting 2 Canadians on the D-line at all times... our D-line was clearly most dominant with Nevis and Poop playing together... (2) They were able to start 4 Americans on the D-line b/c they were starting 5 Canadians on offense with Bond out (Neufeld, Goose, Chungh, Harris, Coates)... I really think we can look at starting 5 Canadians on offense next year... if Bond leaves we can start Neufeld, Coture or Gray (fingers crosed) at LG... if Bond is still around, I think we can start Adams, Dressler, new impact wr (not really holding my breath), Coates and JFG/Wolitarsky...

First of all, he's a coordinator, not a position coach... Secondly, of course the team would let him interview... the real question is does LaPo want to interview for a HC job?
