I also thought Hubbard looked promising, so his demotion is a puzzlement. But then, there have been a lot of those  this season. And the previous season. And the season before that. Ad nauseum.

No way MOS gets the boot at 1-5....because if we change coaches during the season, we might lose football games....

2 ways to get the right guy:
1. Pay whatever it takes for proven winner.
2. Find the next top young talent coming into his own
 
We don't spend the dough on the first and are incapable of locating the other.
 

Paying money for proven winners...... is not a Bomber specialty.  Pseudo exhaustive searches resulting in recycled, buddy boy, in house, and cheap hires.....is.   Then we wonder why we don't build a winner.....

O'Shea should have been fired at the end of last season, but they'll give him more time even if we lose bad this week.

Some of the members who were so happy we picked Waggoner in last year's Supplemental Draft with the exchange of what turned out to be the second overall pick in this year's CFL Draft are coming to see just how ridiculous it was to do that. I swear they only liked the pick because Kyle Walters proclaimed this was a good move & needed to be done because we'd only have the 7th or 8th pick in next year's draft anyway. Talk about a guy  who totally thought his team was much, much better than it really was. Considering Waggoner's #2 or 3 on the depth chart at linebacker & we sacrificed the 2nd pick in this year's CFL Draft for a player who may have started for us. We made a selection for depth vs a potential starter.

I'll give you that but a Head Coach has to do more than run a good ST unit. Our D has issues and has for his tenure. So does our offense, like his
tenure. MOS has coached 38 games, we've lost 8 by more than 20, 13 by more than 10. Hard to defend a guy who's team gets blown out in over 21% of his games and loses by a larger margin in 1 out of 3.

ritchie turned it around after his first season. The 99 team played with a lot of fire at the end of the season. 
This team reminds me a lot of the 2k bomber team.  The big difference is that team had ritchie, and he had them play their hearts out. We dont have that now. This team has no heart, no fight. 

To be honest, I thought it was a little unfortunate that this element of the story seemed to be overshadowed by Riley rather than the other way around, so thank you for posting this.

If there can be a good ending to gang rape, this is as close to that as it gets. Mike Riley had a rep as a good guy when he was here and it seems that he still is. He stepped up, admitted the harm he did and took the wrath of his victim. It couldn't have been easy.

I'm going to tell you y your wrong.In the World hockey tournament the Canadian players were after Laine they knew he was Finlands best player. We take Laine or Mathews that's it. The only 2 who have separated themselves from the rest of the top 10. That's why 3-10 are talking about trading down.

Just gonna throw this out there, but Columbus's manager just happens to be Finnish, does he know something we don't.

So if Puljujarvi is virtually the same as Laine, as some here postulate,  then why wouldn't Columbus just sit and wait for him at #3?
