CFL Draft
Muamba will be around for a while yet, but I do think that he has not shown enough to draw NFL interest again. I'm pretty sure he's a CFL lifer now.

CFL Draft
Muamba has not shown himself to be a dominant linebacker in his second CFL tour, so his "best before"date is probably behind him. I would be sorry to see Judge in any colours but blue and gold, though.

To me, Bladek and Judge are the top two that ought to be at the top of the Bomber draft list. My opinion and a toonie will get you coffee at Tim's every day of the week.

Gore showed flashes of being a good receiver on occasion but never quite lived up to his potential.

Pit bulls can be as vicious as any other breed, and any dog can be conditioned to fight and kill, especially if it believes its master wants it to do so. The difference is that pit bull is very muscular terrier, and terriers are incredibly tough. Pit bull terriers were extensively used as, believe it or not, baby sitters because of their patience and temperament.

It wasn't just that Vick was involved with dog fighting, often to the death of one or both, but that he strangled dogs of his who lost with his own hands. That type of pathology doesn't go away very well.

If you ignore the street people and the thousand or so who are living in the storm drains, well, yes.

You forgot to add "so there".

Damn. Any chance we can dig Don Wittman up and re-animate him?

And with all due respect to Brian Dobie, the coaching at the college level in the Excited States is waay better, so the grads are much better prepared to make the transition to the NFL.

CFL Draft
If someone that big and that quick was consistent, he would be gone in the first round of the NFL draft, so it is a gamble.

People are always making generalizations. Ekakatie looks like a very viable prospect, though.

But you need that sort of protein load in order to build and keep muscle mass. I recall when my son was trying to make the Bisons football team and bulked up from 185 to 220 (still didn't make the roster) and ate damned near every shred of chicken, fish and beef in the fridge. And a half-dozen egg whites plus lean ham for breakfast. He did lose speed and flexibility, though, and if he had put on any more mass, he could have been legally classified as construction equipment.

An interesting article recently in the Freep mentioning Geoff Gray. His typical breakfast is 10-12 scrambled eggs and 5-6 chicken breasts. I am imagine his parents will be happy to get him out of the house SAP.

This is not just about the sport of football- its show business. Like the prolonged agony of a 4 hour Academy Awards show.

We are not supposed to take pleasure in the suffering of others, but does that include relishing the stupidity of others, particularly if they are Riders or Rider management and fans?

On behalf of all rodents, I object to the comparison.

Judge seems to have a nose for the ball and sheds blocks incredibly well. Can't teach those things. Definitely a first-rounder if he is willing to sign.

CFL Draft
I have no inside info, but I would bet he will be in the CFL this season. He does not fit the NFL linebacker model. Soooo....here come de Judge.

Bombers Off-Season Transactions
Ugh. I threw up in my mouth a little bit. Are the Bombers that desperate?
