If all the stars line up, maybe. I suspect, as others here have that the Riders are probably looking at a 6 & 12 season if Glenn stays healthy. All that stupidity swirling around the team has to have an impact on the players. Maybe the novelty of a new stadium will offset some of that, but I think Jones is going to have to walk on water to get anywhere near .500 and avoid the guillotine.

As much as I heap scorn on the Priders, I still have friends in Sask. and almost all are horrified at the goings-on in Regina. I thought that Mike Kelly would have set the CFL record for earning mockery and humiliating fans, but this is a whole different level of stupidity and arrogance. When the fans in Sask have had enough, the treatment a certain kicker received in Regina will seem like a warm hug by comparison.

This gong show in Regina reminds me of the joke about the crop predictions for the Russian harvest: " Worse than last year but better than next."

Judge seems to have a higher ceiling, so may be worth pursuing, providing Jones is sane.

With Waggoner having jumped the fence, I do wonder if trying to swing a deal for Judge would be a good idea. Waggoner's CV wasn't as good as Judge's and a ratio-buster NI linebacker is always welcome- there has to be another Mike O'Shea out there.

This has to be a critical year for O'Shea's reign here. Yes, the team got into the playoffs last year but that has to be the absolute minimum for this one. Patience is well and good but it has to pay off.
