I understand your logic as far as drafting and developing homegrown talent, but disagree with how an average roster develops by taking players at their ceiling. If you grab average players, you get an average team. If you have the smarts to sign good players, you get a good roster. The trick is to choose wisely, grasshopper.

Yup. There are likely a lot of quarterbacks out there who have all the physical tools but have gotten either the gameday experience or coaching to develop. Smarts can make up for a lot of things, but live-fire experience isn't one of them.

Tylor Henry does not have breakaway speed but reads the field really well. Brandon Thera sure looks like another Loffler- loves to hit. Marouf looks like the immovable object- in the clips provided, he fell on the opposing QB and I could not see the QB at all. The Spooner clips were so jumbled that it was hard to follow him at all. Conteh looks quick but unremarkable. The kicked looks awesome in hang time and appears to be able to aim the ball pretty well.
