Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg
Maybe the league ought to institute a rule that if a team does not honour the ratio rule in a game, if the offending team wins, they lose the win, and if they violate the rule and still lose, they get slapped with a hefty fine or have to play the next game with one fewer import player on the field.

So.... we now know that at least three of these are deep into their cups.

The Bomber secondary may or may not be vulnerable to an aggressive passing attack. The Rider receivers look to be pretty good and last season was not a good one for the Bomber secondary overall, but Kevin Glenn should not strike fear into the hearts of the Bomber defence. Still, I am still suspicious of Richie Hall's coaching.

Regular Season - Bomber News, Developments & Speculation
I think it would be more accurate to say that we became a good team last year after we deep-sixed Willy and upgraded the O-line, and none too soon, either. I would be very happy if we trounced the Riders on Saturday, but I will not be desolate if we lose. It is still the first game of the year for the Big Blue and those are often weird. A good effort is mandatory, though and if our secondary gets torched again, I will not be happy. And, Mr. Hurl- eyes are on you.

True, but the yards after catch are important.

I realize that the video clips were selective, but when I watched them, I saw only one instance where Wolitarsky ran over someone. A nasty attitude goes a long way in this league.

CFL To Celebrate Canada 150 On Saturday
Has anyone else picked up on how much of an honour this is for both teams, to take the field on the 150th anniversary of the birth of the country we all love? Regardless of what we may think of the Riders and their fans, the rivalry has been a great feature of the game and the (mostly) genial sniping between both provinces. This is truly a once in a lifetime event and an inauguration of a great new stadium. Nobody close me had better die, because I ain't gonna miss this.

We should be able to get a nearly-full McDonald's coffee card for him.

Wolitarski looks to have good hands, good body control, not afraid of traffic, but isn't going to run away from many people. Maybe an Andy Fantuz sort of player.

I'm afraid that he and Jerome Messam are going to fall into the "ones that got away" category to regret.

Like most things, scheming blitzes is not rocket surgery. If LaPolice does not know how to counter every variant of blitz, he ought to be flipping burgers. If the oline is too dense to respond, they ought to be turfed.

I heard an interview with Ian Wild today. He said that the Bombers defence is going to "simplify"their game. Whaaat???? i thought it was pretty darned vanilla last year.

The exhibition game was absolutely no measure of either team. The biggest advantage the Bombers have is Chris Jones.

That said, a stomping of the Riders this weekend is mandatory or we will never hear the end of it from Ripper and Kluchk.

Tiger-Cats @ Argonauts
The previous lineup was definitely "putting out" because they were getting screwed every second play.
