  1. Okay, the Bombers are still in the game despite their comedy of errors, but Nichols has to put a drive together for at least a FG.
  2. If the 'Cats score a TD, I have little confidence the Blue can come back tonight, even against a second-string QB.
  3. Bombers look like they have decided to soil the sheets tonight
  4. Its always about the score and it reflects the play tonight
  5. Receivers did not play defence, fumble or throw INTs.
  6. Damn. Adams was playing really well and Gaitor will be missed.
  7. This mess has nothing to do with Matthews. The defence got lit up, the turnovers have really hurt us, and Nichols looked off his game but improving (we hope).
  8. Bombers have no excuse if they lose this game. Masoli is out but both offence and defence has to step up.
  9. Catch was good, and Nichols seems to be getting into the rhythm. Bomber O-line is not holding up the rush well
  10. Just not tonight- he was eviscerating the Bomber defence
  11. That drive gives us hope. Now the defence has to carry on.
  12. Can't bench Nichols. He has to work through this
  13. Frack! I was hoping it would be the new guy and Matty.
  14. TiCats lead the league in medium and long passes, so the Bomber secondary is gonna get a workout. It would very helpful to them if the Bomber front 7 harassed Masoli early and often.
  15. We shall see in the next week if there is another chapter to this story.
  16. FYI: the Riders have fired their D-line coach. Funny- they were one of the better parts of the team this year.
  17. The fly in the ointment is the CFL head office. I have long harboured a suspicion that the CFL was instrumental in Ricky Ray's move to Toronto. Whether we like it or not, O'Shea would be both really popular in Toronto with a very high profile and would give the organization instant credibility. Heck, he might even get Ray to come out of retirement as a player/OC. God knows, even as Ray is, he is still head and shoulders above anything the Argos have as QBs. Could there be pressure put on the Bombers to let O'Shea go to Toronto? That is also O'Shea's home, and for many, home has a great attraction.
  18. As permeable as the Lions' O-line has been, Walker would make little difference. Reilly is almost guaranteed to sustain a major injury soon at this rate.
