  1. I do not think that it makes any sense to continue to put an obviously struggling quarterback out onto the field when he continues to fail, the game is still within reach, and the team has a viable alternative.
  2. Nichols stunk tonight and that was evident early in the game. The problem was that he was left in too long- he ought to have been pulled in the third quarter. The O-line was not good but even when Nichols had time, he looked unsettled. In Harris' defence, he did had only a few good runs, but that has to mostly on the O-line because usually when he was handed the ball, a TiCat was right at his elbow. The way the Nichols was functioning, I cannot see how Matthews would have made any difference. It is unsettling that Nichols was presented with an opportunity to redeem himself and win the game when Masoli went down, but he choked.
  3. That sort of thing is reserved for when the game is absolutely out of reach in the last 2 minutes
  4. I was all for leaving Nichols in earlier when he was struggling, but I think he has passed the point of no return.
  5. Does this look like the Bomber defence is playing well against a second-string QB?
  6. Watched it all, and Masoli was picking the defence apart until he hurt himself.
  7. I assume that you watched the first Ti/cat drives?
  8. Okay, the Bombers are still in the game despite their comedy of errors, but Nichols has to put a drive together for at least a FG.
  9. If the 'Cats score a TD, I have little confidence the Blue can come back tonight, even against a second-string QB.
  10. Bombers look like they have decided to soil the sheets tonight
  11. Its always about the score and it reflects the play tonight
