2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Good on Moe, but I was hoping that somehow his health would allow him to return to the Blue and Gold.

MTL @ OTT
I'm not sure Reed's ego will allow him to not micro-manage the team, but I am very happy for Khari.

Hecht did not look good right after the impact, and as his arm was in a sling that would be a strong indication that he will not be good to go next game.

Would the departed Als coach have had anything to do with that decision?

Adams looks like a legitimate CFL quarterback and is making Khari look like a great coach. Could Sherman have had that bad an influence on the Als?

I suspect that Sanchez would consider that a compliment.

If Dondrae Wright cannot play better than Derek Jones did last night, he ought to be dispatched forthwith.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
What was encouraging was seeing Nichols hitting some long passes for big yards- it looks like he is getting used to having receivers who can get deep fast. All things considered, the Bomber O-line did pretty well against a decent Argo D-line and can only get better. The receivers made some very nice catches. However, we need to get Fenner assessed for bi-polar disorder. Two weeks ago, he looked like he would struggle against high school receivers, looked very good last game and reverted to pathetic again. If he is playing defence only every second game, he ought to have his salary cut by 50%. It didn't help that Derek Jones looked even worse. Streveler continues to think run first if his first read doesn't look good, but he threw a couple of nice passes, which is encouraging. As dominant as the Bombers were in the first half, they looked mediocre in the second on offence. This concerns me because if the Bombers cannot continue to fade in the last halves of games because it can persist into close games, leading to losses. There has to be a certain mentality in good teams where they do not let up because they are ahead.

Sloppy tackling by the Bombers there

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Bombers lack of killer instinct troubles me. When you got them down, you stomp the opposition

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Bomber defence bails out their offence, but enough is enough,

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Argo defence has stiffened, but Bombers cannot seem to adjust.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Damn. Another two and out. Bombers need to learn how to grind out a game.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Yes, but who is responsible- Nichols or LaPolice?

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Jefferson has been as good as advertised, but we need the Bomber offence to give the defence a breather.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Lets see if Fenner and Jones get their lunches eaten again.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Between Fenner and Jones (who we were told was on the verge of becoming a starter), they could cost the Bombers the game.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Aaand Fenner screws up again.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
Damn....Fenner the goat once again. One bad game, one good game,on bad game. Time for an apple and a road map.

O'Shea is O'Shea and the return of Nichols was pretty much inevitable.

You were saying....?

EDM @ BC
A friend who has been a Lions fan for 40 years was so disgusted that she turned the game off halfway through for the first time in her life. Sad.

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
38-12 Bombers (mercy rule will be invoked)

Argos at Bombers - Game Day
That would come as a surprise to me-that has not been O'Shea's modus operandi thus far. Besides, if Nichols is hot, why not let him kick sand in the Argos' faces all night long? I thought that Toronto had better coaching than has been evident thus far.
