**** off with that noise, Matt Nichols was many times the qb fajardo is.  The fact that you compare Nichols with a shoulder injury that ultimately ended his career to fajardo says it all really.

Just came to post this too. I remember a lot of us (myself included) questioning whether he had it during the first 6 games last season and then the switch went on for him. Just phenomenal how he's changed since then.

I'm reminded of Speedy B in the 2019 cup when he blew a tire and popped a nut. ..His "No Mas" moment.

Fun fact about that broadcast - it was shown on both CTV and CBC, and the broadcasts teams for each network split the duties. CTV’s Pat Marsden did the first half play-by-play and I think it was Leo Cahill on the colour, with CBC’s Don Wittman and Ron Lancaster taking over in the second half. 

If you were a Gapper fan you could watch them in half an afternoon.

Had a quiet scotch lost night - & watched the  2019 highlights.

The big thing is with the way D's are collapsing on Oliviera, Zach has to call back to his Cincinnati and early pro days with some zone reads, pull the ball out and take the free first down, obviously don't be overly risky on taking hits.  You send everyone vertical and run a Zone Read to Brady...easy yards.  Then you have those boot passes they always run, those are a little more dangerous vs Montreal with the zone blitz stuff.  To me this is a game where it's really run and vertical passing for the offense, depending on conditions, you saw in the WF that neither team could really consistently pass because of how difficult it was to grip the ball in that damp cold right around the freezing mark.  If you need to grind out points that's fine because Montreal's O has no chance of getting them a big lead, but their D can.

All the wanna be stars TSN wanted to promote and make happen wilted...The Chad...Howdy Doody Betts....the Amazing Big Play VA...The Andrew Harris factor...Historic Season Good Ship Argo...all went right down the crapper

In my twenties, the bombers lost everything. Every game in Regina. I repeat we didn't win a game in Regina when I was in my twenties. That **** hurts. We lost multiple grey cups. Saw Stegall retire without a ring. 6 different head coaches. No hope in sight.
 
In my thirties, one head coach. 4 consecutive grey cup appearances, hopefully 3 wins after next weekend.  Wins in Regina.

Really liked that 3-3 front with Kramdi and Alexander kind of playing more like US style safeties.  Really hard to figure where rush is coming from and really easy to disguise coverages in that look.  Really makes it impossible for QB to read much pre-snap.  Which is ideal against guys like Adams and Fajardo.  Also good at spying/containing scrambling QB.
