You realize that Suitor is just a Rider Fanboy... According to him you can't call anything on the Riders, and you're to go out of your way to justify an infraction by the Blue.

k...enjoy your posts and bantering with you but really?..how do you say worst in league...compared to you guys:
2nd in interceptions with 16 (Sask third last with 9)
1st in opponents passing efficiency at 75.8% (Sask 5th at 89.3)
    3rd in opponents completion % at 61.0%..league best is 60.6 ( Sask 4th at 67.7%)
2nd in opponents passing TD's (Sask tied for 3rd with 3 others)
3rd in opponents average pass (Sask 4th)
Sask is 2nd in average passing yards given up per game and Wpg is 5th so you got us there...mind you teams have attempted only 291 attempts on you and 420 versus Winnipeg but thats because they cant run as well on us as shown with 69 yards against Wpg on average and 91 yards against SSK on average...And a lot of that yardage on runs is a result of good run support by the DB's
Coupled with we have gave up the same amount of points on defence as you in 1 extra game played as well...part of which is due to the secondary
So tell me how does that indicate that WPG is the worst Secondary again...as stats show...WPG grades out better than SSK in all the major areas, other than 1

Jefferson is going for the ball but should have been more aware of where he was. A fine is the right outcome.

This is a classic "letter or the law" vs "spirit of the law" debate here.  By the letter of the law the toothless CFL braintrust is correct...no rule was broken.    It's a convenient hiding place for them not to entertain anymore discussion and wash their hands of it.

Just catching up on all the discussion here... Wow sounds like the Bombers were royally screwed on this game.  I hope we absolutely demolish them on Saturday.  When Bob Irving complains about officiating you know something is up.

EXACTLY.   You simply don't have the time to brace for impact when you are expected to :
    1) Snap the ball with your head down
    2) Lift your head
    3) Get your feet set
    4) And brace for impact.
In a professional football game, CFL or NFL, this has to happen in 1-2 seconds.     In the NFL it might even be faster.  There's also a reason the long snapper is a designated position since it requires a unique skill set.
There's a reason the CFL put this rule in place to protect the long snappers.   Delusional Rider Fans will never see the logic in this unless it happened to one of their players.
While we complain about the TSN panel, and their commentary... they are all filled with former CFL stars, who played the game and know the rules and understand the  pace the game is played at.    If they agree the hit was dirty, Bob Irving agrees the hit was dirty , MOS  (another former player and well respected person) thinks the hit was dirty... guess what  it's likely a dirty play.   I understand that they are sometimes way off base, but that doesn't happen very often.   They know what they are talking about... they are the subject matter experts.

I'm calling you out- first there is the fact only you and fans of the riders defend that cheap shot- take that how ever you want. Couple that with the entire history of your posts and the pattern they show.
The guy is running at him full steam before Remple lifts his head- and contact is immediate those first few steps he's already been engaged- what ever you see is what you choose to see that fits your ever slanted narrative- same ******* story every time.

A vulnerable position is a vulnerable position. Why are you acting so dense? It could be no steps it could be 10 steps. Vulnerable isn't on a step count. Not sure why you are so hell bent on defending a dirty play, especially one against your own team? Terrible how far you will go to defend the other teams against us. Does a BlueBomber come and poop on your step every morning or something?

Nevermind the defence having the riders pinned at the 5 yd line and fold like a cheap tent.  Now I have to endure another nauseating dose of how Cody Fajardo is the greatest qb

I don't like this at all.   The bombers passing game even with Nichols has been friggen pathetic.   We had two awesome receivers in Adams and Matthews.    Maybe design an offence that targets both of these receivers effectively and hey maybe the passing numbers might get better.   I remember in training camp Nichols was raving about Matthews and Adams.   I agree with Doug Brown, this will come back to bite us.

A very good article indeed.   I'm of the opinion this wasn't intentional, as Harris does seem very contrite and apologetic.   The fact that the head coach and several of his teammates backed him up seems to reinforce this wasn't intentional.   Yes I understand solidarity and such, but if he was a cheat, you think others would be willing to go on a limb to sacrifice their reputation.  That being said, when you live in the limelight,  every action you undertake is scrutinized, and every black mark you encounter enlarged and dissected under a microscope.   That's the pro athlete life.   One bad thing can wipe away 10 good things.   It's unfortunate that this happened to him and everything he has and will do gets marked with an asterisk.
