Glad Yoshi got a bag. Glad we didn't give it to him.

Sorry to see Yoshi go.
Agree it seems smart moneywise and it may be smart talentwise.

I'm a little surprised we haven't heard anything about our big two and several other prominent FAs such as Tim White, Jamal Peters, Oulette etc.

works for me as well...and have an inkling we will be scooping up an Argo defender too........

What makes our team better, schoen or pickett/hendrix for less money? and Brady/schoen vs both Argos and easily another base deal player?
I love roadhouse but I think we would be better with more spent on defense. If we retain lawler, demski, woli, and Bailey we don’t need an ace wr we can bring in low risk high reward cheaper vet type to compete with rookies for a spot.Is the ask would I rather have Schoen or Pickett and Hendrix? Love Roadhouse but would take those 2.

If you can lock up the core of a team that went 6-12, you just have to do it.

So if Brady leaves where does he go?

Not thrilled about the Jake news. I mean maybe if they know that Mason Bennett and Kongbo are both a no but this could have waited till TC imo.

I like Brady but if he wants $250,000, I am more than fine in letting him get it elsewhere and signing Oullette for $170,000 or another cheaper replacement.

Don't know if this is true or not but heard on the Ray and Benny Podcast that Andrew Harris made $235k at his peak, which would have been around 2019. Could be these are the numbers Brady is basing his ask on. Also Milt advising Brady to stay in Wpg. to take advantage of the outside football earnings that will be much more lucrative than any money he can make elsewhere.
Pretty sure Harris never topped 180

I've changed my mind on Kolo. I have decided that Walters plan is that he drafts a stud OL prospect who becomes our 6th OL, while Eli beats out Kolo and then Kolo is dealt for draft capital. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😉

Excited to see how Buck utilizes both Zach and Strev.

Happy to see Strev back.
Still want to see Schoen back.

Agree. A better reload could have been done in-season over the last 2 years. If they want to keep the run going they kind of need to make more wholesale changes now than would have been necessary.
As a guy who does physical work and turned 36 last year, I really didn’t like seeing the whole core of the team hitting their mid-30s at once.As a guy in his late 40s, I really don't like this. Got to go, those dang kids are back on my lawn.

$230,000 a year isn't enough to live in Regina.
