We have come to the time of American politics when a member of Congress talks and plays with his guns while talking to other members of Congress. It's a race to the bottom folks

Researchers in Argentina have unearthed the largest pterosaur species ever found in South America. Dubbed "dragon of death" by paleontologists, two giant flying reptiles were discovered in the Plottier Formation, an outcrop located in the province of Mendoza.
The two specimens' wingspans measured approximately 23 feet (7 meters) wide and 30 feet (9 m) wide, respectively. Researchers confirmed that they are azhdarchids, a family of pterosaurs that lived during the end of the Cretaceous period (approximately 146 million to 66 million years ago).

    "A new line for London
The Elizabeth line is now open. It stretches more than 100km from Reading and Heathrow in the west through central tunnels across to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.
The new railway built by Crossrail Ltd will stop at 41 accessible stations - 10 of them new - and is expected to serve up to 200 million people each year."

Ritchie Hall is my age & I can tell you physically I've slowed down the past 5 years. Being an assistant coach, let alone a DC with the long hours is a grind the older one gets. I agree with Booch that Younger is probably the heir apparent. for DC.

Todays training camp report.  Dry strong north wind and cold. Venue was the practise field adjacent to the soccer complex so no stands to sit in and have a larger overview., had to watch at field level. As a result I was forced to watch the Offence, in white, run through the paces as the defence was 80 yards further away.
there was a moment, was thinking, “these are the grey cup champs, twice,” and “there’s the Most Outstanding player for the entire CFL”. It was a awesome and got a little choked up.
I didn’t see any kickers. No idea where they were.
was there for an hour. The O was split into two squads:
Squad 1 - lead by #8, and was shadowed by #12, that had no reps. Also on Collaros squad was, 20 Oli, 27 augi quick!, 80, 88,10, 83, 84 and on the line 66, 68, 67, 51 kalamkowski and 55 burns. That’s 13 guys, and some I gathered they were rotating through, but Prukop didn’t touch the ball. 2 Ellington was out there but didn’t see him line up. Could have just missed him. There’s a lot of frighten players out there.

Squad 2- lead by #6 Brown, shadowed by 15 (no reps). Also on squad was 29 Borsa, fast and athletic, motivated, 73 Harrison, 38 McRae, 81, 70 Nunn, 87 Lucky, 52, 61, 65, 64 Dobber. :must have missed some one. That’s only 11.
so Collaros and Brown were getting major reps. With the line ups as stated, there might be indications of who’s number 1 on the O.
other observations. 86 didn’t participate, no helmet but in pads. Man, he’s tall!
22 Glass, seems like a character, running round, glad handing as many O players as he could.
they moved into doing sets of down, in hurry up fashion, Collaros group, the Brown group.
so no report on the D, too far away, but during a drill, I looked for #5 and #4. #5 was working away, and 4, holy crow, he was going at 110%!, impressive work ethic!

hope to see the D another time.
final observation: a Joe Farigelli look alike, twin, was wondering the ditch around the field looking for bottles and cans, I’d guess. He looked pretty good!

As O'Shea said on the Coach's show, some guys are gonna have a hard time making it onto a very good team and that he will encourage them to keep trying.  By releasing them now, some of them may have an opportunity to catch on with another team before the end of TC.

Support bro. Mental health ain't no joke. Been there, took over two years off work on WCB for mental health reasons.  My **** will always be there but got some skills through that process and therapy to work through it moving forward.
Dont ever apologize for being injured.

Like others I liked what Clements was doing out there, flew around and had good instincts.  "Looked" like a LB.
Was worried bout the American DL with stove leaving but like the push and motor from Randle.
Was hoping to see the big yank corner, Rene? I didnt see him.
Elillingson would be wise to make some noise early, a few young guys behind him that look like players...plus they are at a fraction of his salary.
    Borsa, let's keep him.
Drew B looked poised and confident.
Prokup threw some dimes late in the game.
    Just another IG west win.

That's true. There is personal accountability, but governments also have a responsibility to enact regulations that shape what individuals can do and the benefits/consequences they receive from their actions. For example, a carbon tax rewards those who choose to live a less carbon-intensive lifestyle. Subsidies for oil & gas encourage development and use of fossil fuels by lowering extraction costs and consumer costs. Government policy consistently alters how individuals act within a society and therefore have considerable power to enact change. There should be tremendous pressure on governments to do something about climate change, just as there is pressure on them to prevent violent crime or maintain infrastructure. Governments, as a group, have been failing humanity in this regard.

    They like music.
Some people fly to attend sporting events, some for music, some to visit family or to spend time outdoors
I guess I just classify all recreational travel the same - it has become part of the fabric of western society
Those that can afford it are not going to let it go easily
Everyone is counting on some pie in the sky government policy to combat climate change - but we're for the most part not even making minor changes as individuals

I don't think they expect that at all. It's just another excuse to not enact common sense gun laws. Eventually some teacher will flip out and shoot students or some student will get the teachers gun and reek havoc. Then their answer will have to be arm all students. ( or at least the white ones )  Face it , they are a failed state. Nothing that happens down there makes any sense. Better to prepare and brace our selves for the collateral damage from their implosion.

It is going to get worse in the US. Average family income is falling as is literacy. The rich as getting richer, the middle class is getting wiped out, and the poor are getting poorer and more desperate.

Palister was a ****. We knew it, his own party knew it. But sometimes people will overlook someone  being a **** if they feel they need to. At least for a while. Stefanson is completely incompetent.  She is in miles over her head and abilities. People don't and won't overlook  that.
