Pick 'Ems are back for the 2022 season
How do they work?   Each week you pick the winners for each CFL game.  You get one point for every correct pick.  Whoever has the most points at the end of the year wins a $50 gift certificate at the Bomber store.
Picks will be done through the polling system.  Polls close at game start of the first game of the week.  I will accept picks for games that have not started yet through PMs if you are late getting them in.
Week 1 kicks off Thursday night football with the Alouettes visiting the Stampeders.    Picks need to be in by 8PM Thursday, June 9th.

The worst thing to happen was the US made the rona political. In turn we did here also cuz we have a group of wing nuts who like to think we are the US. The moment that happened we were all screwed.

I was listening to the podcast while I was working. It can be hard to listen to at times but he's bang on.  He's a voice in the wilderness down there. I just can't see it changing. My son in- law is American ( he lives here ) . His parents were retired to Arizona but have packed up and moved to Mexico. They can see what's happening. I imagine they aren't alone.

He got re-elected because he ran an effective campaign and the other two didn't. Neither opposition party gave a valid reason as to why they should be trusted over Ford. 

The comparison to the big league teams is absurd.  You're talking best in the world leagues vs the CFL.  The CFL are going to be behind the NFL and SEC/Big Ten/Big 12 football in profitability no matter what they do.   So if you're looking at the Leafs, the most profitable hockey team in the world versus the CFL you're nuts.  If you can't come to terms with that sell the team.

I'm just really glad that the teams that matter are stepping in to prevent the assholes from wrecking everything.

Re police in Canada..... a friend of mine, an upstanding businessman, lived just outside wpg.
he was shot, in his own home, by an intruder who escaped. My friend survived, but, 
the police came, and did not go into his house, for I think he told me, an hour, as he lay there shot, until they got up the courage to enter the house.
Happens everywhere.... just look at what happened in Nova Scotia. Gunman murdering people, police did nothing. and say they did nothing wrong.

@Fatty Liver there are fundamental gun issues in the states, but, there can be more than one thing to look At.
The people on the force there are in the wrong job. If they are afraid to go into danger, to protect children from being shot, they  should not be part of a police force.
