Bombers sign 2 more imports
Bomber_fanaddict replied to sweep the leg's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
This happens every year you know that right? They have about 70 or 75 players at the start of training camp but rosters are only forty some players. You basically sign a 2nd team in the offseason then cut most of them before training camp is done. I know it's "supposed" to happen every year but I haven't seen this many training camp signings in a loooooong time. I can recall maybe half as many players signed last year and there is still almost two months till camp. It's just nice to see a change. -

So a quick look at the Bomber site and the players added since the FA period are as follows: Grigsby, Nic Quarles, Cyhl Jeffrey, Damario Robinson, Antonio Bucknor, Matt Williams, Leon Loper, Gabriel Coleman, Austin Brohm, Brian Leggett, Maurice McAdoo, Michael Hogan, Brandon Renaud, Taylor McRath, Gerald Brescacin, Jordan Gatling, Stafford Newman, Graig Tate, Kenny Garvin, Michael Ray Urrutia, Mario Feoli-Gudino, Julian Hogue, Doug Richardson, Louie Richards, Randy Marve, Robert Hajrullahu, Lirim Sims, Quentin Willy, Drew Moore, Nick Banks, Korey Neufeld, Patrick Paliwoda, Terriss I am probably missing a few but wow! It's like they signed a whole new team! Guess Walters was right when he said you won't recognize the roster this year. -
Well if he's no good at Football maybe he can take up a career in Meth production? I seem to recall somewhere that you can make a fortune at this
-
Guess if he doesn't pan out for BC they could always trade him for Ricky Ray??

Why does the thread title still say "appears". Can we change that now -
I have completely lost track of who they have signed this off season. Seems like they are stocking up though which is a great thing!

It's about time they made it official -
This doesn't sound good... @55YardLineCFL: New post: #CFLPA says they’re not prepared to play under previous CBA, which could lead to lost games: http://t.co/uV9odUguVh

Wouldn't the correct spelling of his name be BIGJOEMUFFERAW Which is exactly how I sound after a dozen or so Whiskeys

That picture of him at the beginning of the video MOAB posted is ridiculous. How hard do you have to work to look like that? At first glance I thought that was a pic of me. Then realized that I'm not black...I don't have dreds....and I'm fat...other then that it's a splitting image!

Back? He was never here... Or did i block that out? I think back as to OB. My bad. -
Depend on what Province and your personal lives. In MB the cottage season is so short you don't want to be missing home games or traveling out to the lake after a Saturday afternoon game only to come back on Sunday. This is by far the best season schedule I have seen in the last 10 years for begin able to make the lake every weekend in the 8 warm weekends we get.

Willy ready to compete if Bombers trade for Glenn
Bomber_fanaddict replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Normally i would say Glen would be the vet QB in Ottawa but since he has yet to play for them and may not still I probably would have said the vet QB from Calgary. -

Bombers sign QB Robert Marve (unannounced)
Bomber_fanaddict replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Guess I'll be "that guy"...... Umm welcome to the board. How is it you know of Rob and why do you feel he will have a great CFL career? Thanks for the welcome. I've known Robert since he was in middle school. Extended family...brother in law. He's a good kid and is so very focused and talented. I won't pretend to know much about the CFL rules and the game in general but from what I've seen, it's a pass oriented league and the QB should have a strong arm and good mobility which are both strengths for Robert. How's the Offensive line in Winnipeg? Receivers? RB's? Kinda figured you knew him pretty well. You will quickly learn we have an extremely passionate fan base here and are very championship Hungary (it's been a while) This makes the majority of us grumpy and a little on edge sometimes when we have someone come in and start talking up someone we don't know as the next best thing. No offence to you and Robert. We have had plenty of players come through our league that just fizzle out or leave during training camp due too many different reasons especially QBs. This is why we are usually pretty sceptical about a new guy. If Robert is committed and passionate about football he will fit in here quite quickly. I wish him the best if he makes it through mini camp and into camp. Winnipeg is a fun place to play football. How is our Oline?...let's just say it's a work in progress. RB...we have had pretty solid RBs as far back as I can remember and not a possiision to worry about.
