  1. We have found the park and ride to be a great option! The downs is quick in and out and no worry about parking. We havn't taken our kids on the park and ride but my 4yr old nephew has gone and been fine.
  2. MB Smith Kelly McKnight Peach.........Why stop there? Bring on Williams!
  3. Not really, with 'Brody McKnight-in-shining-armour' kicking 55 yard FGs in practice, we only have to get to the Sask 48 yd. line. Bob Irving ‏@BobIrvingCJOB 29s Mcknight Showing off big leg at bomber practice, launching 55-yard field goals. Perfect! New game plan.......We just need Woods to return it to the 48 each time we get a kickoff and instead of putting any offence on the field we just put our FG team out. This way we don't lose another QB and we will actually put points on the board!
  4. Not bloody likely. LOL, I meant the 10th.....the 11th could be a loooong time coming still!
  5. Bob Cameron? Two... Didn't Bob Cameron get dropped liked 8 times before finally getting the starting gig? I believe it was 9 tryouts over 4 years before landing here. I think Brodie is trying for 9 in one season
  6. Bob Cameron? Two... Didn't Bob Cameron get dropped liked 8 times before finally getting the starting gig?
  7. And how many teams did Cameron get bounced from
  8. I got the answer today from the Bombers I had been looking for Turns out they had desgined for 10 markers to be placed but when they went to put the 10th in they would have dug through buried electrical lines. So next year or when they get some time they will redesign it a bit and add the 10th one on the other side of the walkway and continue on from there.
  9. Dr. CFL reeks of Nasty Nate/Lyle E style......
  10. The other WR signing appears to be former Ticat Aaron Kelly. Wow whats with all the former Ticats??
  11. It was leaked to media on Saturday that Jason Boltus is the guy being brought in. Likely the same leak that spilled the Mack firing JB probably not the answer but at this point I don't care who they bring in just keep bringing em in cause we are going to need them.
  12. well that's cause teams are just blitzing all the time... How about instead of harping about the o-line we start doing some things to slow down the blitz? Drop a pass in behind the blitzers and make them back off. Should be lots of room out there, why aren't we taking advantage of that? The QB doesn't even have enough time to get a pass behind them. If you can stomach it rewatch the game and count the number of times the QB is picking himself up off the turf. Hamiltons D isn't even any good and they are able to shred our line.
  13. Good I hope they bring in 10 QBs. Once we go through them all maybe they will realize the oline is the problem! At one point in the second 4 Hamilton defenders walked through the line untouched.....4!!! It's like it was a magic trick.
  14. Didn't specify. Or at least I didn't hear if he did. I assume its changes to current play book MB said he wanted to change the things they shouldn't be doing and focus on the things he should be.
  15. Hall estimated today that 50% of the offence has changed since MB took over. I didn't figure he would try to change that much so fast but it speaks volumes of how bad the offence was!!
  16. Yeah the HOF should change their page or alter it to show by Club/franchise and not just by the name. See with Hamilton the Tiger-Cats have won 8 Cups but the City has 15. The difference is is that the Hamilton-Tigers, Hamilton Flying Wild Cats etc are defunct teams. They were not the same team with a new name change under the current Hamilton Football club (as far as I know). Had the 1925 Winnipeg Tammany Tigers won or the 42-43 RCAF Bombers I wouldn't consider that as a cup win because they wern't part of the WFC.
  17. In the year 2065 when we are all celebrating #11, ISO will be celebrating #10.... Can't wait to change my signature line to say CHAMP11ONS
  18. And the CFL website says it was the Winnipeg Winnipegs who were nicknamed the 'Pegs. http://cfl.ca/greycupcentral/year/1935 And the Bombers website say 10. http://www.bluebombers.com/page/grey_cups The Winnipeg Football Club was founded in 1930. Changing the name of the team from the Winnipegs to the Blue Bombers doesn't change the fact that the Winnipeg Football Club has won 10 Grey Cups. Well, tell that to the CFL HOF. Because according to them, the "Blue Bombers" have won 9 Grey Cups. I'm not arguing the fact that one may have been under a different name. As it was said before the club has 10. And from the facts site for IGF it says "There is field turf in the east planter parking area, the stripe match the yard markers on the main field. There are 10 first down markers in this turf to commemorate the 10 Grey Cup wins." If it said 9 I wouldn't need to discuss this. It say 10 I just wanted the experts at MBB to tell me if they knew why only 9 are in place. I emailed the Bombers and had no response. This is turning into one of the worlds greatest unsolved mysteries....
  19. I think the difference is Hamiltons were different teams the Bombers were the same team different name. Either way.....the website says 10 first down markers one for each year the won the cup. Lets not argue over the amount. I just enter to know where the 10th is
  20. In all honesty I like this move. Even if it's just to rotate some guys around in the D all the better. Now get that contract signed with Vega!
  21. I demand to know who is making these moves signing aging vets!
  22. So you don't think Max Hall having similar and also better stats then Durant and Lulay isn't something to take note of? Same goes with comparing him with another qb who was playing his first CFL game ever? Still. Not trying to take anything away from Hall but he played against the worst defence (next to us). Goltz had better stats against BC who has a better defence. In all honestly we can complain about each and every QB and who we should have and who we missed out on but the reality is we will never know which QB could have/should have been because of the poor coaching and play calling all these years. What's to say keeping Glenn through all of these different OCs and management changes would have made us any better? He struggled in Hamilton and had his ups and downs just like the other QBs did in Hamilton until Cortez took Burris and turned the offence around. Look what Cortez is now doing with Durant. How about JC in BC and how he runs his offence and Lulay. Do you honestly think Lulay would put up great numbers in Winnipeg??? I believe Hall and Goltz could be successful but until we change our system around they will likely always put up mediocre numbers. Maybe MB turns this thing around maybe it's just a stop gap until we can find someone better.
  23. No........We are the worst and Hamilton is the second worst.
