Was at the Jets game tonight. Every time I go to a Jets game, I wish I had gone to 3 Bomber games instead. Maybe I just don't like hockey as much as I thought I did.
Maybe. But the NHL season is 82 games long and even the best teams don't show up sometimes. And fan engagement at hockey games is **** tier. Fans play a real part in a football game

My comment about Schoen might still be true but it isn't going to be related to this Bryce Mitchell guy I guess. I legitimately had no idea who was on our PR and got excited that someone was promoted to the active roster.

Hope not....I'd like to see a Rose and Lawrence Corner duo for a game with Holm and Nichols, and Parker at SAM....Be our best all around group and a more physical one....
That would be sick.

It's nice to have a guy like Oleary orange waiting to go in.
Best receiver is out and we are still destroying them. Felt good

Bombers find themselves in a great position heading into the playoffs. Bye week followed by two games followed by a bye week (as long as we clinch). They'll get their rest but not too much rest.

I never felt this game was as out of hand as it was at the start and knew that the Bombers would pull it out if they stopped with the stupid turnovers. 7 gifted to the lions on a lame PI, missed 3 on a shitty snap on the field goal... then a bunch of dumb dumb turnovers by collaros cost them even more points.
Hall made nice adjustments and the D was good in the 2nd half. Offense had no trouble moving the ball.
Honestly i have no idea why BC thinks they're going to win without even trying to run the ball.
Agreed. Pound for pound we were clearly the better team all game. We still seem to like to give teams points and turn over the ball in the red zone.

Make no mistake - that was a character win by the boys tonight. Never say die.
I personally felt like our defense was close at the start of the game. They just weren't finishing on those second downs. My thoughts were vindicated as they started to get home.
Collaros continues to absolutely **** the bed when getting into opposing territory. But it seemed like he turned the corner a bit near the end of the game. He is a pocket passer at this point in his career. Sure, you can roll him out on set plays, and he can even run for a few yards. I just don't want to see him reversing field ever again. Made Betts look good by literally running into him. But he still showed great character in never giving up.
Brady was obviously amazing.
Jamal Parker is becoming a favourite of mine in a short amount of time.
My Twitter account gets a shoutout for getting blocked by Ballsy. That's a fairly easy one. But we have to be proud of our victories. That guy really sucks ass.

you'd be wrong. And the stadium barely got loud on Friday. It had some moments. But nothing like the Banjo Bowl/past playoff games.
Seems like the Argos plan to take the fans partially out of the game worked. Sit some guys. Make it seem like it should be easy. Fans didn't seem to want to give it their all. A couple touchdowns to get the lead and it turned into their game. Thank goodness the Bombers never lost their pride

Conversely if it comes down to a poor weather game I like the Bombers to ground and pound a hell of a lot better than the pansy assed lions. Likes aren't amazing at stopping the run and Brady has been pummeling teams lately. That's a matchup win for winnipeg all day every day.
Yep. Lions are less suited for cold weather games than the Bombers. And a passionate IG Field fan base is a huge difference.

The strange thing about Hall’s defences is that the “bend don’t break” almost seems like he is playing soft coverage just to see what the offence is doing for one half, then makes second half adjustments to more aggressiveness. Not sure why it takes a half to get in synch so often this year.
Spotting the other team 14 points seems to be his strategy lately

Honestly Zach could probably help himself out a ton by taking off and running a few more times a game.
That's where my excitement for Dru Brown eventually taking the reigns lies. He moves around the pocket like a waterbug and can pick up first downs with his feet.

I maintain we have more true diehards than they do, but they (until recently) have more fairweathers who come out when things are good. But when things were truly shitty for us, we still had a lot of people coming out to games and buying gear and what not. More than any other franchise when things are shitty.... and IMO... that's the true measure of a fanbase.
Yeah I think in Sask you are just born a Rider Fan like you are "born Catholic". Thus you get your clothes in green like you would wear a crucifix

Is Jamal Parker really the best we can produce as a kick returner?
Night and day difference between the D Line with Jeffcoat and the D Line without Jeffcoat.
Collaros with another INT to a linebacker he didn't see. Uh oh.
Use Brady Oliveira maybe?
Our defense was just the worst. Too many times you'd see 2 DBs in the same area and no one taking the wide open guy.
Overall the boys had their heads up their asses today

Pete Robertson down. couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Tre Ford looks really good. But he's going to have to learn to protect himself.
Yep. He makes so much happen with his legs. If he has any kind of leg ailment that could drastically reduce his success.

Barely did anything. BC imploded.
Agreed. Also overrated. Does BC even play the run? I've never seen a DE with less responsibility of contain. He is fast, ill give him that. Allows him to track down a QB after running 15 yards into the backfield.
