Rivers played a few games with the Esks, so he should understand the CFL game. Unless that's why he got cut from Edmonton...

Jeff Hamilton @jeffkhamilton #Bombers HC Mike O'Shea says OL Jermarcus Hardrick and DE Jackson Jeffcoat are doubtful for #Riders game this weekend. #wfp Losing Jeffcoat would be a big kick in the pants.

Gord Barnsley @WinnipegGordo 2m2 minutes ago At #Bombers practice and Dressler isn't practicing. He seems to be running around pretty good however. Washington is currently on first teams.

I do to. He just didn't word it very well.

Regular Season Bomber News & Discussion
sweep the leg replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm thinking stupid penalties are what could potentially have him in the doghouse. He's taken a few of them this season. -
That was always my grandpas argument. "They shouldn't have done it if they didn't want it back". Edit: His brother was a pow for years after being sent to Hong Kong to fight, so he also had little sympathy for the fire bombing and a-bomb dropped on Japan.

On a different topic, this can't be good new for the Conservatives. More vote splitting. Sean CraigVerified account @sdbcraig 98,5 Montreal's Bernard Drainville reports Maxime Bernier is "more and more likely" to leave the Conservatives and form his own new political party.

I've read a few books and articles about how the German population's ignorance of the holocaust was overstated. I had a book about it, but can't remember what it was called. Regardless, there are a lot of good articles about it. Definitely an interesting discussion topic. Nothing done by the allies merits equivalence to the holocaust. Civilian bombing is probably the biggest one mentioned (by some) that was part of the war strategy. My grandpa flew in a Lancaster during the war, and he'd fight anybody who even hinted that the bombing campaign over Germany was unjust.

Then again, maybe he is... Duane FordeVerified account @DuaneFordeTSN 1m1 minute ago Sources suggest that's the Toronto Argonauts have emerged as the frontrunner to sign free agent WR Duron Carter.
-
Unless I missed Carter's signing in TO, Trestman's interest in him seems to have been overstated.
-
Lol, that's an interesting take on the situation.

Defense took a few terrible penalties after 2nd down stops, and it seemed to open the floodgates. I think they ended up scoring every time we did that.
-
Do you have any thoughts you'd like to share to back this comment up? Two of the players you noted weren't here last season. Two are still here. Denmark averaged 33 yds/gm and JFG and Wolitarsky are more or less a saw off. Where is this big drop off coming from?
-
We've scored more points and given up fewer in the same number of games, with similar schedules. They've already played Mtl twice.
-
Your first game against Hamilton counts as one. You won't see many teams get outplayed worse than that and still come away with two points.

Lol, Goalie is the goat at taking mildly contentious arguments and cranking them up to 100.

Next Game vs Hamilton - Revenge Is In Order
sweep the leg replied to USABomberfan's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Three of our four wins are against Toronto & Montreal. I would say it's a resounding yes that they're better than both of those teams. BC, with Lulay, is a much closer comparison. -
That push was right on the border of what I'd consider offensive pi. I'd be made if it happened against us though...

Passion is great, but that was embarrassing. It looks like he can't control himself. Not the image you want your hc to project, imo.
-
I take park and ride nearly every time. We're usually home 45-60 min after a game. Not sure how much better you can expect when 25-30k people are all leaving at the same time.

McGregor vs Khabib official for UFC229. Can't wait!

Edmonton annoys me. Lobbing up 50-50 balls and having their receivers win the battle seems to be their go to strategy in close games. Maas is my least favourite HC in the league. No wonder his team is undisciplined when he can't keep it together either.
-
Too bad for them they can't keep Chris Jones the DC and fire Chris Jones the HC.
