I follow him. He was good pre-NHL. His two seasons prior to this one weren't stellar, but he was great this past season. Goalies are weird and history is littered with guys who had one good year and could never replicate it. I don't think that will happen to him, but I'm surprised he got this much money this early in his career. I guess it's the new NHL, and guys are getting paid coming off their entry contracts now. It's a very good deal if he maintains this level of play. -

Seems like a lot for one good season. -

Gustafsson gave DC all he could handle as well. If DC is smart he'll stay away from wrestling Lesnar and keep it standing. Lesnar has almost no chance to win a standup battle with Cormier.

Our two losses were against the two best offenses in the league. I'm curious to see how they'll do against a mediocre offense like the Lions. -
Not that unreasonable for a woman to want to move on from something like this.

So if you even out Ladd & Ryan, that leaves Karlsson for a 1st. The best (arguably) dman in the league is going to get you a lot more than that, especially since Ottawa is allowing teams to negotiate an extension with him. -

Why is Ryan poison? -
Brian Walker has signed with the Esks.

I didn't realize you had a made up conversation to support your point. That changes everything.

No, he's not. The quote in the paper was " "I'm sorry, If I had known you were reporting for a national paper I never would have been so forward." There's a difference between that and "I'm sorry I groped you".

It's not the same standard. Hehr was already an elected gov't official when he got in trouble. Being in a position of power makes what he did worse.

I'm not against starting Nichols when the doctors/training staff say he's ready to play. -

Nichols & Steveler are both under contract next season.

He's more than worth it to the franchise. Watch what will happen to the Cavaliers this year without him.

The first time somebody gets charged and challenges it, the restriction will be gone. I've read that it's unenforceable.

Two thoughts: 1. That was bad football. Lots of drops and penalties. 2. Poor job by officials protecting players. Hebert should have been tossed and the ref was looking right at Mitchell when he took that headshot and still didn't call it.

He's also admonishing them for their racist jokes about Japanese names. This of course, coming from the guy who called Hefney & Johnson gangbangers & monkeys.

B/c when one of either Thomas or Corney gets hurt, we can only dress six d-linemen, unless we want to di two Americans at that spot. -
Not a big fan of that contract. Hopefully they can salvage his career like they did for Schultz & Oleksiak. If I was in charge, I'd trade Letang now. He's an adventure defensively and gets hurt too much. Pens won a Cup without him last year, and he was terrible in the 2nd round this year. Trade him now while you can still get a good haul for him. I think the Oilers would pay big for him.
