Signing a top end rb and a really good blocking reciever, it looks like they're going all in on their running game. Probably a smart decision, given their current situation at receiver and qb.

Agreed. As it stands now, they're worse at qb, receiver, DL (lost Ceresna), & db. They got better at ol & lb.

I don't hate Jennings as a qb. I think with a good oc he could be a decent player. I'd take him over Collaros. It's too bad what happened to him. He had star written all over him before the injuries got him.

Yeah, that's a lot. IMO Banks is the best receiver in the CFL, and he just signed for <$200k.

West will be even tougher if Harris goes to Edm & BLM stays in Calgary.

I think I'd go cheap and promote somebody from within, rather than spend $180k on anybody at safety.

I'm sure we still have $250k in our budget. The issue seems to be that we don't want to pay that much for a rg. That seems reasonable to me. Is there another olineman in the league making anything close to that? Edit: will be very interested to see what his offers are if he goes to fa.
