To the moment we were knocked out of the 2018/2019 playoffs last season to now, this is the defense core put together for opening day/?

Trust the process trust the process trust the process

Well it would be Niku and Beaudin in reality but still that's scary. 1 D over 6'1".

Perrault should be on third line with Letestu and Bourque if we're forcing them onto the roster...  seems like a waste of Appleton and Roslo

Don't see how Natahn Beaulieu did not make the opening D roster

This is not a Stanley Cup window team... yikes.

Beaulieu is out 4 weeks with an upper body injury.

well, can we please keep having Broadway actors doing anthems? because that was pretty good

so how long until we see a Save-on-foods/sobeys score and win ad? oh wait I guess they'll have to film a new one unless they dub over safeway

well that answered my question no more "I Play to Win Gord"

and Scheif scores the jets first goal of the regular season

If you had asked me b4 the game I would have expected a 5-4 Jets loss with the winner late in the 3rd. So I did okay.

Not a surprise the stanchions came into play.

Tomorrow 2=1 loss. I'm getting my prediction in early.

Morrissey was great. Pionk was really good. Heinola was lucky the guy who burned past him one play not score. Thought Poolman be more noticeable.

Wheels could have had 3 or 4. Ehlers amazing.

Laine off to good start -3 :) So is KConner :(

Lemieux not change.

Rangers got better goal song.

Goalie needs to be better, team in front of him needs to be better. The two are not mutually exclusive if this team wants to compete for a playoff spot.

Tonight was too pond hockey for my liking, even if it was entertaining. With all the changes to the back end I expect a steep learning curve but if things can get tightened up in the defensive zone and the run and gun is kept to a minimum, this team should be alright.

It'd be nice if #33 could make a decision sooner than later, too.
