That siren mounted atop the ugly green ATV Gainer rides around the stadium has to be one of the dumbest, lamest things in all sports. I'm honestly surprised that's even allowed: having an EMS siren on a non-emergency vehicle.

I mean, if they run it for a TD celebration fine. But the fact that they keep it going into the kick off and during play, that should be stopped.

    One more little thing, Parking:

I have settled on Park  N ' Ride but last week decided to drive straight to the game, don't ask me why. (it had something to do with getting a pizza to go). I got a spot very close to the stadium just over the hill opposite the east entrance. I was surprised at the $20 bill I handed over for the privilege but still I was inside the stadium gates in no time at all.

Leaving was another matter. We were literally a few hundred feet from University Crescent but had to follow the flow of traffic as directed by the gates-keepers. It took over 40 minutes to get onto University Crescent (and then just 3 minutes to get to Pembina Hwy) ....

Is exit traffic always that bad? Is there a better faster place to park and exit?

It was a funny way to spend $20 when I could have had a beer or two instead. Any suggestions should I ever skip the Park  N ' Ride again?

If you are just coming by yourself, see if you can find a way to bike or bus. even if you drive part way and park on a side street, then take your bike out or hop on a bus to do the last 15 minutes, it makes a big difference.

I'm pretty sure it's -3 points for Edmonton if we block an Edmonton field goal through their own uprights.

No that would still be plus 3 points for us. To get the negative 3, the ball must go backwards through our uprights. This will be done by medlock on a fieldgoal attempt where he blasts it through for 3, the ball proceeds to orbit the earth in flight and come back through the other uprights backwards, for a 6 point swing play.

good point... that's a good angle to take it from that I hadn't considered... piggy backing on another site to advance your own is petty... but  there's gotta be a better way to co-exist... more CFL content out there the better, IMO...

If he was even a semi-active poster and contribute to the site by adding comments, thoughts, etc with some dialog here, that would buy him a lot more leeway with these grumpy old men.

  5. Another question I had about a Trestman decision, and forgive me if this was already discussed, but I'm 99.9% sure he had 1 timeout left when the bombers knee'd out the clock 3 plays in a row. Why wouldn't he have used it once to force at least a kick? It was a 1 possession game. I found that very odd, like he conceded to the bombers even though he had a chance to try to change the outcome.
