Lots of turnover. Dline is almost totally different, a few new backers and DBs as well IIRC. Now that's not 100% the root cause of the issues, as some of the new pieces (Chick) seem to be elevating their level of play...

I think this will reduce the amount of fishing expedition challenges in the first half of games. Get a challenge wrong early, have to use a time out in the final 3 minutes of the first half for whatever reason, now bam, out of challenges and time outs the rest of the game.

Anyone got a running total of the bonus money the riders have paid out to players who are now not with the team? Shooting from the hip, if you add in the practice fine of over $20k, that's got to be close to $200k off the cap, no?

He just came off the IR yesterday iirc, they must have been waiting for that to release him. Either that, or maybe he was told he wasn't going back in as a starter right away and he was having none of that.....

Just have to make that decision to cut the vet before their money is guaranteed the rest of the year:

Can confirm, went to see the Jays play 6 years ago, even without the game day traffic it was nuts. Saw someone road rage on a taxicab who tried to bypass a long line of traffic that was waiting to make a left hand turn, so at least there was entertainment while we waited.

Not sure why it wasn't posted here yet, but Riders place kicker Crapigna hurt in practice and is on the 6 game IR. Emergency replacement for place kicking duties Johnny Mark signed and will be playing tonight.
