I'd have left Streveler in only to save the wear and tear on Nichols, but he's still the guy for this team. I don't even think he was that bad, lots of penalties took plays off the board for them, he dealt with a lot of dropped passes and he dealt with a team that was taking away the Bombers running attack which screwed up the entire game plan. Just one of those games that happens where the other team executes their planned defense and you can't find the answers for it.

They also suggest that the team plays with a lead a lot of the time, which every team in the CFL gets more conservative with.

To me the offense is still going to lean on Harris and demski and Adam's and thompkins will have to step up with dressler out. Lankford is just another guy on the offense. Don't **** up and maybe make a few plays and it's fine.

I dunno, Dressler is still our #2 receiver and has been making tons of plays for us. Yeah he is older and more fragile but guy can still play and is still a big contributer. This team just isn't likely to have any receiver put up insane stats simply because of how much they spread things around.

Since Nichols took over the only team that's done more winning than the Bombers are the Stampeders, and they don't have a lot of Cups to show for it either, so forget O'Sheas overall record, that is heavily influenced by taking over a team that wasn't very good. This team is built to be a contender long term because they are using their draft picks wisely and have built some pretty good depth at the NI positions. That is what leads to long term success in the CFL. The Grey Cup will come eventually, no need to panic. Forget 1990, fretting over that is what has led to a lot of stupid hiring and firing decisions since that time.

Well they already went to their depth to get Thompkins on there, Lankford coming on for another injury isn't really a damning indictment of things. Guy isn't fantastic as a receiver but he can play a little bit and to be honest they way they like to use him he is the most natural replacement for Dressler cause they'll likely have him run the same plays Dressler does. I know he's the resident whipping boy but it's a move that really isn't that surprising given how the receivers have been deployed this year.

even if it's shown to be wrong? It's OK to say that Hall has stepped it up and got the D playing better. If you ignore what you see only to stick to your opinion you are just being ignorant.
