  1. Objection! Last week the stats had me at 2 strikes and I took Andrew Harris now I got 3 strikes. as for a pick, I'll get that in later.
  2. Yup for sure. As a tackle he is a complete liability, as a guard it's fine.
  3. Half assing it from the looks of things. The way he gave up on that play in the endzone was disgusting, judging by his reaction Matt Nichols thought so too.
  4. As is to be expected from them. Everyone knew that was their problem going into the year. The shine is really off Jennings after his first year and that OL has been a mess for years.
  5. It's a not so secret secret that a lot of immigrants get their licenses for these jobs without proper training. Driving a truck in the winter in Canada is not such a simple task and I don't believe that the industry does a good enough job ensuring that people who get licenses to drive these trucks are actually good drivers. Hell I think it is too easy in general to get a drivers license.
  6. Has he contributed at all this year? I know he has a few catches but talk about a non impact player... maybe he will see more ball with Nichols in there. He better step up soon though.
  7. This game was frustrating only because it showed how awful the bombers defensive game plan was.
  8. Yeah the quarterbacking... it was a big running play that got them the score to win, otherwise it was a pile of **** from their qbs.
  9. Well that's probably true.
  10. So with Cooper listed over Sayles are they trying to pin the blame on Sayles for trying to run a shitty defensive scheme?
  11. Dunno if anyone posted this already but thought it was an interesting bit to read. https://bomberbuzz.ca/2018/07/04/bombers-defensive-coaching-hits-rock-bottom-in-steel-town/
  12. The real kicker here is that if Rider fans weren't so delusional about how good their team actually looked going into the season they wouldn't be nearly so pissed off when they are performing like most objective people believed they would. Bridge isn't a good qb? No one could have predicted that! Colloaros is damaged goods? The hell you say. Duron Carter isn't very bright and bad at db? Who'd have thought? Poor national depth hinders the game day roster? Wish someone had thought of that in the offseason! That is just a poorly constructed team and the roster management on game days is laughable. Don't be surprised when a team like that gets beaten or plays poorly, the real surprise is when they do actually win.
  13. I think he's playing in Hamilton now.
  14. This is why call ins after games are stupid. Too many unhinged morons calling in thinking that their raging is what everyone wants to hear.
  15. More likely there's just a complete lack of options out there for qbs. I mean look at what we were left with when Nichols for hurt and Durant called it a day. Had to bank on a rookie cause there's no one to bring in. I know some people think Adams is hot **** but he's already washed out of several places, including Montreal so he's hardly worthwhile. And further more, when Mack first got here do we not remember that he went out and got both Pierce and Jyles? Guy tried the CFL experience route, but Jyles wasn't worth much and Pierce was broken.
  16. please not reebok, please not reebok, please not reebok.....
  17. Andrew Harris
  18. I am shocked that Walker was cut, I always felt he was better than Alexander last year never mind any of the newcomers.
  19. the bombers also wanted them to throw the out all night, you clearly heard O'Shea telling them to do that. It was just all part of a piss poor game plan on defense.
  20. I think he's got plenty of arm strength to throw downfield, I think he's just under thrown some balls because he's a rookie and he's misjudging how far you gotta throw some of them.
  21. At the point now where it doesn't matter to me if it's Nichols or Streveler out there, only concern is what are they going to do on defense to stop the bleeding.
  22. To be fair, all they said was that the guy had the same tools as Burris in that he's got a strong arm and some mobility. But tons of qbs have those same tools.
  23. Against some guys you don't want to give them a bunch of time to sit and pick you apart, but against someone like Masoli I think you are far better off just letting him have time and making him think. All he did on Friday night was drop back and throw the ball to where his pre-snap read took him. Blitzing didn't do ****, especially when you give guys a 5 yard cushion because the ball was out to a wide open man before anyone can get there. Shoulda cluttered up those intermediate routes and made him make some actual decisions with the ball.
  24. Considering that the only reason Willy left the game was concussion protocol I'd say you are mistaken. Willy is obviously not taking the reps cause he's hurt, he was actually doing reasonable well in that game and had he not left for the concussion protocol I bet the Als win by a greater margin.
