  1. No that is using past poor results to justify a negative view point. Thus proving exactly what I am saying.
  2. You are so blind you actually think you are objective, that's why you don't realize you're just being negative. As I said, the number of people around here who are truly objective on any fan site is so small. Everyone has their own biases and their own slant on things.
  3. It's because you really don't look at both sides of the coin. You focus on the negative as much as others only focus on the positive. You are not objective, you are negative that is backed up by your posting history. There are very very few people round these parts who are actually objective, everyone has their own slant one way or the other and there are degrees of it, but you sir are a negative slanted person.
  4. Some people are just negative. But here's the thing, the Bombers defense has ramped it up lately. The secondary is playing better compared to early in the year, the DL is getting a lot more pressure, the LBs have been pretty solid the whole way through but the entire D is bringing some pressure to opposing offenses and so far they're forcing mistakes out of them and that makes it a lot easier on everyone. Then you couple that with the offense being able to capitalize on that and boom, 3 straight wins. Doesn't matter who was in the lineup for the other team, you can only play the team that lines up against you and last 3 weeks it's been passing grades for the Bombers all around.
  5. Question, how come last week Noeller and I last week were both listed as having 3 strikes and we both took Messam and now I got 4 and he's got 3? If I'm going down I'm taking him to hell with me. Anyway this week I'm taking Adarius Bowman.
  6. CBC was showing some interviews that Bolt did with some other networks not being happy that he had to work harder in a semi final, but Donovan Bailey says it's just the competitive streak of each guy. De Grasse wants to win so he's trying to send a message and Bolt being older and coming in after the hamstring injury doesn't like being pushed. I think bottom line they do get along just fine but it's still competition and you still gotta do what you gotta do to take that edge into the final because everyone wants to win.
  7. That little finger wag is just great, he's telling him, you cheeky bugger, you're not beating me even in the semi final.
  8. You know I would never hire Chris Jones no matter how good he is at his job. You can't trust the guy. He has bailed for bigger and better things every step of the way often in messy and shady ways. That's just a bad situation from my standpoint. What if things take too long in Saskatchewan and he feels the heat but say Montreal comes calling, does he up and bail for that?
  9. You are never as good as you think during win streaks and never as bad as you think during losing streaks... so where does that put the Bombers? Probably right around .500 actually. I still say they're a team that has their performance revolve around momentum. When they have it it's all fun and games but when they lose it they struggle to get it back. We'll win some fun games like we have lately and lose some ugly games like they did first game vs. the stamps.
  10. You're only as strong as your weakest link so all of a sudden some of the weaker parts of the OL got a lot stronger and the group looks a lot better. Nice to see.
  11. 100% accurate except for the only part that matters....
  12. It's one thing for fans to call you a hack but when your peers in the business are doing it.....
  13. well geeze after watching the heats for the 200m perhaps I under estimated De Grasse. Kid is just fast. Still think guys like Bolt just with their size are tough to beat cause Bolt just jogged the end of the 200 and still won his heat comfortably but De Grasse didn't expend a ton winning his heat without trouble either.
  14. I would absolutely love it. There are always ass clowns from the gap wearing their rider **** to mcmahon stadium even when the Riders are no where to be seen. I maintain that my favourite CFL moment is the 09 Grey Cup. ******* were annoying as **** all day and watching them all instantly be silenced with one simple too many men penalty was glorious.
  15. Think he was just talking about the slow start and strong finish, but over a longer distance I can't see a guy that short being able to maintain the speed like the guys who are built to run the 200m.
  16. I read it on the internet so it must be true! It was very much the pick used on Oosterhuis that was traded for Brown. I think there was a third round pick involved as well but the first rounder was the main piece.
  17. Wait is this a second account for whichever guy was spewing this stuff last week? Trying to make it seem like there are more people agreeing with him?
  18. Rider employee. They pay him to spew all sorts of homer crap and the fan base laps it up.
  19. usually it's not about gaining a first down. It's usually just about field position and not taking chances with the ball. You know the other team is going to sit back waiting for you to try and force a first down so you go short and if you get a miracle run and get the first down great, if not you get some yards and punt the ball away and live to fight another day.
  20. They are so insulated from the rest of the league they actually believe the crap that their homer media spews.
  21. yeah Bolt is just a freak, there is no way a guy that tall with that long a stride should be able to have that quick a start. the 100m guys used to always be shorter and more powerful and have to take a bunch of steps but then here comes bolt who can hang with guys off the start and as the end of the race comes he just uses those great big long legs to keep powering through and leave them behind. Never see another guy like him I don't think. As for De Grasse, he's a bit of a slow starter too who gets faster as the race goes on so they say but given his stature I can't see him really being a threat in the 200m. Too many taller guys there who will use that natural advantage in the stride length to overcome slower starts.
  22. You know if I had been Dickenson I think my response to "win with some class" would have been simply "at least we can win"
