  1. you think that he never voiced his displeasure at being switched even once... until he left and then he just sprung that on everyone? beyond belief.
  2. better than merely "good"... not really enough of a body of work to be "great" (but coulda been but for injuries)... so whatever rank is between "good" and "great", imo.
  3. Penton made a good point, you can control offering more $ and not saying we're going to switch your position. However if position was such a big deal Labatte should have brought that up in negotiations as well, he never did that. we can't know that.
  4. that's how i figure it... hopping my train soon... Mark H, see you there... my mobile# is in your PM box
  5. they were only ever there to fill out the roster of teams that bluto's Boatmen beat every week... last i checked Stoddard's Heroes were the team to beat... playing in a tougher division and all that never heard of 'em.
  6. they were only ever there to fill out the roster of teams that bluto's Boatmen beat every week...
  7. whatever your beverage is, a maths teacher conference is definitely a proper excuse to drink...
  8. Oh man, I remember going up to Arash Madani at that party and asking him why he hated the Bombers so much. His response?? "I just write whatever people are going to get worked up about". Then a friend of mine totally got cock blocked Damon Allen. That is all. For $50, it was a great party. Should be crazy at Regina this year. Beer wise, I'm far from a beer snob. But... I just cannot understand how anyone can drink the crap that is Bud Lite Lime, etc. Usually I'll drink Keiths, Sleemans Honey Brown, or St James Pale Ale (aww Winnipeg). it's cute when a girl thinks that drinking Sleemans Honey or Keiths IPA makes her a beer snob <3
  9. very key. having an entire quarter of football that your team simply hasn't competed in is killing you. and here again is why ditching Mack was essential to the Blue Bombers. having an entrenched GM with his political capitol attached to players who ought to be benched or cut just wouldn't allow for improvement or progression. it's no surprise that cuts happened right away as well as having starters benched for backups... with a new boss (albeit one who has the "interim" tag next to his title) there's no ego-investment in past poor personnel plans. (a double Noeller quote... maybe i ought to just stalk Cory for comment worthy posts...)
  10. good move that. sometimes i think that the best part of moving to this new site (for some people) is that some of us can't go back to old bookmarked threads...
  11. Kohlert is a FA too... isn't he also a wheatie?
  12. i wonder if any of those characters are registered trademarks...
  13. i thought so too. i'm not looking past the Schmoes today... but i'm very interested to see Calgary the following week.
  14. x2 (for thinking Hall was better... not for liking Goltz)
  15. i would guess that at this point in time, Miller is the only guy with firing authority.
  16. no... people are well behaved here. the place has been self-moderating pretty well.
  17. considering he's never been banned here... you never know
  18. Terrence Edwards.
  19. the contract statuses of Kohlert, Muamba and Etienne may give Ottawa second thoughts about selecting them.
  20. i'd be shocked if that wasn't "the plan" when MB was brought in. seems like a natural.
  21. he subbed himself on after the ref had raised his arm (signalling no more changes).
  22. in the chatroom, there were two occasions where it was noted that a certain Bomber defender grabbed jersey and appeared to be waterskiing... obvious flag both times
  23. that's a good idea actually... as one of the site's bloggers, i'd endorse this.
  24. awesome patio there. muskoka chairs all lined up right in front of the lake...
  25. did you channel Nate for this?
