Those videos that the club are putting out on twitter before games are great. I watched the last one and have tears in my eyes and want to run through a wall for the W.

Riley Marra is a genius with his videos and social media work.  That was my son crying in the video from the 2019 cup.  Still goes down as the greatest day of my life to have been there live with my boy.

Because they got beat by a very good team. I am not saying the riders are better then the bombers all i am saying is the riders are a good team. They won 10 games and fought through a ton of injuries nad other stuff. All i am pointing out is that you guys seem to have a inability to admit that.

Enjoy your offseason pal…now Let’s let the big boys play

I've tested hundreds of individuals through my workplace over the years.

Invariably they are dirty when they use the can't pee defence. What they don't mention in the article is whether the CFL mandates that the player be witnessed while urinating (to eliminate using a concealed sample in a eyedrop bottle or "Whizzinator" for example).... which can lead to the "shy bladder" argument. Of course this only flys for so long before nature insists. You also don't need that much pee to test.

It's still a bizarre situation, as any adulterant in the sample won't disappear in the short number of hours  that would pass before any healthy individual would need to urinate.

Its almost as if they think the tester will forget about the test. Ha

I completely agree.  Through my work I’ve also done a pile of urinalysis tests and when they “can’t pee” or just straight up refuse it’s because they have something real bad in their system that they don’t want to be shown in the results.  I shook my head when I read the reports on Leonard and listened to Dickenson and the fans defend him.

It is strange for him to withhold, since he knows the penalty is the same. And it’s not like a DUI where you refuse to blow and get the same charge as if you blew over .08. In that case, a higher reading (more than double) automatically becomes aggravating at sentencing, so I am aware of cops who say if they were to get caught under suspicion of driving drunk, always blow if you think you are under or on the line, but absolutely refuse if you know you are going over, to avoid the extra punishment of a super high reading.  Since there is no extra suspension derived from higher amounts in the system, why avoid the test? Unless he wanted to go the Andrew Harris route of “only trace amounts, so I can claim inadvertent tainted supplement with plausible deniability”, and figured recent usage would make that claim more dubious than it already is.

He withheld the sample because he knows what’s in his system.  It’s obviously something that would have ruined him far worse than just claiming he couldn’t pee.  The end result is the same as far as punishment but his secret stays safe.

Watched that today as well, honestly, got a little choked up haha. You see all the fans tearing up and it just gets to you,I blamed the tears on the bedroom fan to the girlfriend, didnt wanna look weak.

I have watched a replay of the cup at least 3 times a week since the covid started and I can’t help but get choked up every time.  I was lucky enough to be able to watch the game live in Calgary with my 8 year old boy.  We went on an epic road trip and it was the greatest weekend we will ever have.  My son lost control of all emotions at the end of the game and was literally bawling.  I ended up breaking down too because I realized right then that I had solidified him as a bomber fan for life.  I still have to convince myself that a)they won the cup and b) I was there live with my boy

  5. I bought 2 tickets off of Kijiji for $500 and the year were regular price for around $900.  My wife was initially pissed off but my 8 year old son is coming with me.  Her tune changed when she saw the tears form in his eyes when he found out we were going on a road trip for the game.  Myself and my family have been lucky enough to do a pile of traveling and he said this will be the best trip ever.

  6. 1)Streveler was a warrior that we haven’t seen the likes of in a very long times.  The guy was playing very injured and they still had no answer for him when he came in.

    2) the d was shut down and made bo Levi look like he was running a mid season la police offence.

    3) medlock....he was perfect on the night and kept us in there when it was tight.

HH to collaros.  He did enough to win and put us one step closer to ending the drought.

extra HH to all the beer I crushed

Just read that 9 years was after a guilty plea, rather facing 25 years if convicted at trial! Sweet **** is that insane. Drug laws are barbaric.

The American justice system really hammers on criminals more than the Canadian system.  Depending on how much he had on him, he would have maybe received a 2-3 year sentence in Canada....or possibly even far less than that.  We have guys who commit some crazy murders(manslaughter) in Canada who get 1/3 of the time that Heffney got!

The refs. didn't see it.....LOL LOL....Why didn't they defer to the vaunted 'eye in the bloody sky' IF that was the case.....What a pile of crap...Do they think Bomber fans are mental midgets trying to sell that bull$hit....geez Don't insult our bloody intelligence

The ref clearly saw an infraction and threw a penalty because he was clearly watching the incident. I’m curious why he would be able to see enough to call a penalty but conveniently not see the helmet being swung.  Did the ref stop watching half way and assume it was done?  I have extensive experience reffing hockey and I can speak from my experience that a ref doesn’t usually miss this unless he was afraid to make a call that would set a team back as badly as this would have.
