i want to hear more about this thing about an incentive to starting veteran Americans.

I was told by a player(who is very knowledgeable in the negotiations)this morning that the league is wanting to make any American player who has been in the league for over 3 years count as a Canadian for the ratio.  He said this will directly make 9 Americans on the bombers as nationals right off the hop.

  2. I have lived in Alberta for 12 years now and the rider fans have pissed me off for the whole time.  These so called “fans” go to the local co-op in sask and buy a rider tshirt and call themselves fans.  The first thing I asked the rider fans before they chirp me is to name 3 players from their oline or defence.  Most of them can’t so I don’t give them the time of day to get a rise out of me!

Nichols best game of the year

Dressler was a danger all game. And he hit 7000 yards receiving

Bighill is a beast. Number 1 priority is to get him signed long term

HM: Jovon Santos Knox another great game.

                Sayles was a difference maker

Adams with a BIG game & a 50 yard touchdown. Went over a thousand yards receiving tonite.

    You’re ripping Dressler off...he hit 10,000 yards!

Okay, I'm probably going to get roasted badly for saying this, but why is this even news? People screw up in their lives all the time. Some worse than others. We all know people that have done way worse things. Some of us have done way worse things. Be honest. Have you ever driven a little buzzed? It doesn't make the news. If he were a rock star people would just laugh and say, those crazy rockers. Same if he was a movie star. But because he's an athlete he gets humiliated publicly and we're all going to wag our fingers and convict him in the court of public opinion? Frankly, I couldn't care less. He got loaded and drove his truck. Cops found him passed out behind the wheel. He refused a breathalyzer. Not making excuses for the guy but who knows what's going on in his life? I don't know what it's like to be him. He's going to be dealt with by a judge, a real judge, and it's not going to be a slap on the wrist. I trust the legal system will do it's thing, that's what it's there for. Good enough for me. Are we a bunch of gossiping old grannies or football fans? Let's get back to talking about football.

As a law enforcement officer I am disgusted to hear this attitude.  Hughes screwed up badly and put lives in danger just so he could get hammered and thought he was above the law and decided to drive.  It’s 2018 and the education on drinking and has made some serious gains over the last couple of decades.  One of the bombers players lost a family member a few weeks ago to a drunk driver and I seen first hand how badly is rocked there family and how much was taken away because of a stupid decision.

    Which ones?

    Not trying to be rude.....

I ask that, only cause I question that idea. I see it all the time, it may be true, but really, who actually knows.

There are only so many pro football jobs to go around. and lots, probably thousands of players that would like to play. How much choice do most of them really have?

Hardrick has been killing it since last year..and there was never any doubt with Neuf at guard other than many's perceived idea he was a bandaid..he was just a victim of bad luck and being rushed back to play before 100 percent healthy which augmented his injuries due to us needing him and having zero depth.

He always has played with an edge and follows up run plays to help out and move the pile..same with Goose and Chungh two nasty SOB's who take no ****. Our oline does a great job getting under defenses skin with still playing within the rules and it is part of what makes then so successful.

Teams are more concerned sometimes with retribution or payback at the expense of making plays...and I love that.

Over the last few games I’ve made a point of watching how “nasty and mean” the oline is playing and it’s unreal.  They are a mean group who are looking to crush anyone in their way.  Right now, I’d say Hardrick is a legit front runner to win the most outstanding oline man In the league and the rest of the boys on the line aren’t far behind him for the award.

I'd assume Washington gets first crack at it...He looked good in the slot and coming across the middle and up through the flats.

I bet in Bowmans first game he gets between 6-8 catches for 100+ yards too

If they insert Lankford...I will puke and if I was one of Tompkins and Washington I would actually ask for my release cause of that...we know what Lankford is as a receiver and it's bottom teir

Man I never even thought of the possibility of Lankford but you might be onto something...I am also sick to my stomach thinking about him playing
