  1. Past hour
  2. yup....he also makes play calls...with who he wants on the field...if he didn't he wouldn't have the play card...head set...a coordinator will create the scheme and basic alignments...the NC more times thn not will confer and direct what he wants...or suggests...thats just how it works. No C-Ord will get total control unless its a guy like Richie Hall or Lapo who have oodles of experience and trust
  3. Hoping for guys late in the yr tho....fools game...gotta do things now and if/when those guys come free and we have the opportunity to sign them....well even better...you just exponentially upgraded your starters and depth. By the time some those options could be available we may be in such a hole no player is gonna want to sign on here save for Wilson who has no choice....and that may just make him wait it out the whole yr too
  4. good teams...have the balls and the foresight....forward thinking/looking....we have failed badly at that....no succession plan for any vet that just doesnt have it anymore...or for a guy who chose to move on.....let alone any injury we incur Can always say it's easy to say now...but a lot of the good coach/G.M's from the past made the moves to the dismay of fans and did quite well in doing so Regular season success and stats are all fine and dandy if that is what you look at as a successful season, but when rubber meets road and you falling on your face when it matters due to some pretty obvious reasons, then things need to be switched up Name a yr in the 5 where ZC carried us and we won because of him?....other than the WF last yr which was a combination of a horrid Sask defensive gae plan...and Lawler doing what you pay him the big bucks for....I can't think of any where he grabbed the team by the bootstraps and dragged us to victory And now we don't have a Lawler to do that, or any real game breaker receivers to bail out ZC Nor do we have any real difference maker/impact defensive guys who can take over a game with momentum shifting plays, so we in tough right now with this current configuration of the team and thats not even taking into accoubnt what has been a lot of piss poor coaching and preparation of late Will another dud on Friday, and dropping 4 straight to go to under .500 cause any changes?...sure as hell hope so, and better be They always say it's tough to win back to back against a team...and should be especially so when at home...well CGY ate our lunch...stole our car and took our chick home....if the Ago's do the same....**** better hit the fan inside the walls of PA stadium
  5. 2023...was the start of the decline...and been onging...
  6. It was the start of his fall off but don't act like he was garbage. He threw for 33 TDs. Brown played great that season but it would have taken balls to move on from ZC. Clearly too big of a gamble for Walters and OSH.
  7. Today
  8. Free agent at the end of this season
  9. Lowry's is almost up already? those four years are flying by fast
  10. Bit of an overpay given only 3 years of term IMO. With Connor, Perfetti, and Lowry all due new contracts next year, and Morrissey and DeMelo also up when this new Samberg contract expires, hopefully this amount doesn’t hinder any of those contract negotiations. Either that or the salary cap projections had better be accurate
  11. He wasn't though. That yesr was the start of his fall off. He was still living off his reputation at that point. Brown outperformed collaros that season.
  12. There's a number of players other teams would sign if they could: Demski, Oleviera, Dobson, Vanterpool, Nichols, etc.
  13. Morning Jets fans
  14. Getting Wilson back would be good. Maybe even Dakota Shepley for OL help. Wilson Wheatfall Mitchell (just play the dumb ass) Demski Clercius. Corcoran. Solid group.
  15. He's the Head Coach. Absolutely he has last say.
  16. am hearing that VAJ is a maybe for the Calgary / Ottawa game. Suddenly not so sure about my Calgary pick but my rule is to never, ever, ever choose Ottawa when money or bragging rights are on the line...
  17. Could send it to me but then my name will be on the back and 69 will be the number.
  18. I don't blame the team for moving on from Dru Brown at that time Zach was still playing really well. What I don't get is that extension in the off season... last year Zach was terrible (outside of the Edmonton game) and they gave him another year before seeing if he was going to bounce back? What makes it double dumb is we have Strev who I "assumed" was going to take over for Zach , so delaying the transition for another year? IMO this season should of been a season where Zach takes less snaps and Strev gets more play time. If Zach came back and lit up the league with an MOP season then we pay him the money. If he plays like how he has played so far this season (poorly) the team would officially make Strev our starter now with Zach as the veteran back up insurance. During the off season we offer Zach a nice veteran backup offer and only keep him at a fraction of his cost as veteran backup. Nearly every team is set at QB so if Edmonton were willing to offer him 650 k to start next season then so be it. Sign Fajardo as a back up for $300k an use that money savings from Zach for an all star free agent....
  19. As a casual observer... it just feels like we can't recruit like what we used to recruit. OR O'Shea used to give these new guys a chance and nowdays they are ignored and not given a chance. 3 - 5 years ago every off season we always were worried on what awesome players we are going to lose to free agency. After this season who in the hell is going to sign our free agents (outside of Hamilton)? We have lots of dead weight.
  20. I remember as a kid having a tonne of Ninja Turtles themed - Pizza Flavoured KD... as a kid it was salty delicious. You can make it yourself by making mac and cheese and then adding Kraft pizza sauce into it.
  21. The decision is one that teams who contend for a long time have to make. Collaros has been on borrowed time since 2018. Dru Brown was insanely productive and with enough reps to know it wasn't a mirage. Like double the reps Mike Reilly had before Edmonton handed him the keys and contended for the next half decade. Wally Buono made similar decisions about 4 times in his career. Basically could have handed Collaros back to Hamilton or maybe even Toronto to play out his career. Not the worst thing, it's where they live (his family). Tough decision, but those have to be made. No one would have been worse off. Collaros playing pretty poorly in terms of putting up points in playoff games since the 2019 playoffs would have helped my decision making.
  22. Which bodes well for us...to bad they didnt have kiss of death CFL refugee on top if it...be sure bets to be cut
  23. I agree, I’d put the number at 0. Short of him completely imploding as a person and doing some thing that involves arrest. those changes seldom lead to success as well imo. The in season adjustments we could at most see is shifting some role stuff and taking power away. But I don’t think we’d know if that happened. imo very high for 1, very low for 2. I think it’ll be Walters who bites it. He might return to the oua, which might be framed any which way. We’ve already lost a lot of front office types. Now Mac is taking gm interviews.
  24. They are both UDFA's in NFL camps right now.
  25. Yesterday
  26. And can't be trusted....
  27. Banks has the size 6'4"vs 6'1" but Singer has a much better yards per catch. and played in the NFL
