Nice move and good career for Alex, too bad Suber's 2011 Grey Cup run with the Bombers came up short (deliberate pun) ...

Well he's going to be a free agent in about a months time so what does it matter if it's true or not?

Apparently they have had no discussions with Moore at all. They are moving on 

Communication break down? Genuinely moving on? Bonus due?  In any case if he not in the upcoming seasons plan, I think ill now be even more disappointed if we dont ink dressler or carter

With his injury concernas, I'm not sure how he can be in next years plans.

I am surprised actually, the games he played he was the Bombers most effective receiver.  I think he will catch on with another club as a #2 receiver.

Im a little surprised if true just for the fact we hung onto brohm until nichols reupped, they must feel real confident about someone else...

Different situation.  Broom was signed and under contract for next season.  Moore is set to be a FA and a new deal would have to be negotiated to retain him.

If the two sides aren't anywhere close, it doesn't really matter if you cut him now or lose him in free agency.

If they have no intention of re-signing the guy, it is a nice gesture to release him now...to give him a bit more time to catch on with another team

I doubt if Moore needs the exta time. He'll be signed by another team.

Moving on from Semi Moore is a forgone conclusion it seems, and that's not really an issue. But I do agree, they must have another card to play, because they don't have a plethora of receivers as it is. So, the RedBlacks route seems to be the way we're going. Dressler plays into this quite nicely, I would think.

Moore's value definitely has dropped, its smart to keep him for now and see where Carter and Dressler end up.

Let someone else sign moore and tie up money there so there's less competition when FA day hits.

I just read a bit of riderfans... They truly are starting to convince themselves that Dressler is the bad guy while Jones is good. Specially after the Dressler post.

The few rider fans who are not blinded do have a plausible theory. That Jones offered a real lowball offer to Chick and Dresser that they would obviously reject. He did this only so he can tell the fans that they tried to retain them in order for the fans to not riot and revolt day one.

I strongly believe Dressler when he said no real attempt to work with him to stay was made.

 

It's working because riderfans are posting that Dressler is a hypocrite and that he did the same to the club when he went to KC for money and that he isn't truly loyal because he went to the NFL.

Nationals, Bagg, Getzlaff, Giguere, all are better than what we got rostered now.

Ive been happy with the work of kohlert and jFG. As clutch possession recievers they havent disappointed imo

The only way we should get Bagg , Getzlaf or Giguere is if we get them to next to nothing...

Bagg might be interested to be reunited with Lapo

Please no Bagg or Getzlaff. Both had significant injuries & are too expensive for what they'll give us.
