    Considering we're signing him to be a backup, this is a very wise move. Should coincide with the release of Brohm too, one would think.

Glenn is done for the season so I hope we didn't trade for him. Nichols? Maybe...Ray? That would be sweet. Expensive...but sweet.

Per #CFL sources: Matt Nichols to the Blue Bombers. In exchange the Eskimos get a conditional seventh round pick in 2017.

Arash saying we traded for Nichols.

Holy hell....not sure how much faith I have in Nichols but at least it's something.

    Love it. Sorry Marve fan boys, but he sucks.

    This is a fantastic trade!  Nichols isn't great, but we should be able to win some games with him.  He's an upgrade over what we have.  And for a 7th rounder...beauty!!

    7th round pick for a decent back up quarterback is great value. Wonder if he can start this week.

    Make that trade all day .. every day .. 7th round pick is essentially a throw away .. 

    Does he start next game? Is Brohm shown the door to make room?

    Not sure Nichols could be ready for this weekend but Banjo Bowl for sure...
