#Ticats CEO @ticatmitchell says says he expects team will be profitable in 2015 for the first time in 40 years. #CFL

How does a team survive with 40 years of losses?  Who has been bailing them out all of this time?

If anything it shows the power of what a new facility can do for a team.  I wonder what the Stamps would do if they bulldozed McMahon and gave them a new barn.

In case you haven noticed, Walters is making this his team. He's getting rid of the Joe Mack era players...not many left.

Poblah won't be back with the Bombers.

So you're saying Walters won't be interested with Muamba, Bilukidi and Mulumba if those goes guys find their way (back) in the CFL? Those are Joe Mack draft picks.

Didn't Walters have a hand in picking all three?  Or did I just imagine that?  I know Creehan was in love with Mulumba because he had coached him before.

JAY JANOWER ✔ @DOUBLEJGLOBALBC

BC Lions have released Tim Brown, Kito Poblah, Steven Shott, Andre Ramsey.

Surprised with the release of Tim Brown, he's a great return man.

He's 30, or almost 30.  He's primarily a return guy.  Surely anybody much less Wally could find a younger guy to do the same.

It's said that in 2011 draft Walters wants the Bombers to pick OL Scott Mitchell instead of LB Henoc Muamba. I think that is not hard to believe since Walters like to pick OL on first round.

Bilukidi and Mulumba are future picks at that time, so I would say it's against Walters drafting philosophy.

Who were Poblah's QBs when he was here?

Buck Pierce in 2011, 2012 it was BP/Elliot/Brink, 2013 it didn't matter as he only played one game.

Hell, we had four different QBs take snaps during the regular season in 2011 ..  wasn't any better in 2012 .. consistency at QB has not been our strong suit for awhile .. heh.

In 2011 Buck started all but 2 games that season and most of the games he started he finished.

He played only 12 games from start to finish.  There were plenty of reps for other QBs that season.

So you're saying Taman is going to sign him...

Milt didn't drop balls frequently in his prime you would be on crack to say so.

Poblah did sweet f all, he is a huge bust and not worth the time.

Bowman still sucks when going deep and facing double coverage. Edmonton simply was smart and set up plays that played to his strengths (10 yard passes that he could then extend to big gains). Also Reilly throws the ball to him a ridiculous amount of times. This is why Stamps numbers declined so rapidly.

Milt did drop passes as others have said. Often an easy one. The difference was he'd always catch a ton of them, was a threat to score every time and was clutch. How many games did we all go to and it was the 4th, Bombers need a td, they're in scoring range and they went to Milt for the TD, with the other team knowing Milt was option #1?
