Woo Cotton! Been waiting all season to see him get a legit shot at the starting gig.

But...but..but...the running game is just fine. Just matter of execution we are told.

Seriously, though- I have not been a fan of Grigsby for a couple of months now but he probably never got much of a chance behind that atrocious O-line to show his stuff so I don't know if Cotton or McGuffie are going to do any better.

May be much ado about nothing after all, though I don't recall tweets/media comments in previous weeks of Grigsby taking limited reps early in the practice week...

As has happened before early in practice weeks, Nic Grigsby taking second and third-team reps. Paris Cotton taking handoffs from Willy.

They've been doing this for weeks now...I think he's maybe taking another rest day.

I was just going to say, they did this for Willy when he was hurt just to give him time to rest.  They're probably doing the same for Grigsby.

This is what frustrates me the most about O'Shea.

I can buy the 'you can't stick a newly arrived player into the lineup because he doesn't know the system' line. But, Cotton's been here all year and knows the system. Yet O'Shea tells the media that the Oline and RB are not the problem, that it's the defences blitzing when we have called a run play and have to call out of it.

What the F does that even mean?

why does it matter what he's telling the media?

How else do the fans get their information on the team?

People need to stop bitching about Grigsby....Tied for third in rushing...leads in rushing TDs....second In yards Recieving by RBs to Andrew Harris. Similar yards as Whitiker who plays behind a far superior o line than Grigsby. What exactly do people expect from Grigsby?

Do people really expect O'Shame to admit he has a garbage o line while using 3 subpar Imports.

How do you break a tackle when the blocking is so poor you are getting met behind the LOS

Because not every run is like that, and many times you see a running back turn runs of what should be a loss of two into a gain of 3. Grigsby doesn't do that.

Pretty sad though when just told us in his last presser that it wasn't the RB but hey coaches prerogative to change his mind I guess.

Gee Then if he is so piss poor why is still being played.

You could easily say the same for Kuale, Sherman, and Bryant just to name a few.

Its nice to see a guy actually get benched for performance reasons. Its just shocking that it wasn't Kuale.

Because Napoleon Marcel Bellefeuille runs a BIG play offense and you have to have players with BIG play potential in the lineup, lol.

Kromah had the chance to take his job and couldn't do it.

Kromah was leaps and bounds better than Kuale.
