  • If he misses I am holding you personally responsible

  • Why are people shitting on Brown when this is not the first time we've seen with offense go from looking good to inept within a game regardless of who the qb is? Know what that tells me? It's coachin

  • You don't fail so spectacularly after looking so good multiple times if it's a player issue. That's 100% a coaching issue. Teams adjust and our coach can't figure out how to make adjustments.

Losing games tonight says a lot about the players on this team, also says a lot about the coaching staff. None of it good.

I honestly think this is the most boring team we have had....maybe ever. I did not enjoy last season. This one is worse.

Pretty hard to disagree with this. No air attack, very few defensive turnovers, very few big returns. They've grinded out some wins but they don't have wow factor players like Chad Kelly 🤢 and Damonte Coxie, and there is zero creativity in the coaching staff

For two quarters Singer and Brown light it up mostly on come backs.....things of beauty, timing beautiful.....Toronto adjusts and jumps this come backs and takes them away.....what do we do about nothing....why the F..bomb do we not try a double move comeback and go once Toronto starts jumping them all.....this is IMO just another example of of Condell doing something great, calling something that works, but never seeming to take it to next step, no progression......I just don't get it all season we never seem to build on and progress with this offence

Hot take. I think Bethel-THompson would be able to contribute more to this offense than Dru Brown.

How many times have we seen a sack late in the game.... It just keeps happening

It’s like teams think we have no answer for a blitz.

We don’t by the way.

Castillo being the only American and highest paid kicker can't lose games for us. The streak was nice but the mistakes have to be one-offs, not back to back.

Minor point, but 55 yard field goals will likely be successfully completed less than 50% of the time.

Maybe it was discussed, but after TO got the FG, why wouldn’t we just take the ball on the 40? I know we have Vaval, but it just wasted time and field position.

Especially in to the wind.

I don't want Condell back next year but honestly don't know who else is out there that'll be any better.....

Coaching IMO was the difference today....

Coaching and a really crappy FG miss on the first drive ended up being the difference.

Really though this teams fate was sealed by another badly mismanaged offseason.

Retaining a bunch of old or sub par OL, not addressing the lack of WR talent until Labour Day, hiring Condell, mismanaging the ratio and the roster, trading up to draft a useless TE. Just one mistake after another.

Drafting one good player in the starting lineup over 3 years (Smith). In the same 3 years scouting has brought us a couple of good DBs, a short yardage QB, and one decent WR.

Just too many bad decisions. Can’t be contenders with that.

Inside of the 3 minute warning it is an automatic kickoff. The team who got scored on doesn’t get the choice.

Imagine watching Ottawa's offence the last couple seasons and saying "Let's bring some of that here".

Imagine spending 5 years turning your team into a low-rent version of the one you pumped in a Grey Cup.

Khari Jones. June Jones. Jenny Jones. Collaros. You. Me. My cat.

Poorly coached and poorly prepared. If Castillo made just one of his 2 missed field goals we still would have won by a point. Had he made both we would have won by 11 seems he gets on a streak and cant miss then misses two relatively easy ones and there goes the game, typical of this team

The game was close but Kelly killed us with his elusiveness and making something out of nothing. Our offense couldn’t adjust to TO’s adjustments though BO did everything he could do. Our special teams played below average. And we took undisciplined penalties that hurt us.

This teams o-line is the problem.

No improvement with this group.

Constantly getting trucked and just letting people through untouched.

We needed to tweak our adjustments to what we thought Toronto would strengthen their adjustments to in the second half and we didn't. Our team adjusts very poorly and it cost us.

Not just this game.

Do you honestly believe the rest of the game plays out the exact same way if Castillo makes those 2 field goals?

We've got way bigger issues than I thought it we had Anthony Calvillo out there kicking for us! 🤣

And one miss was from 55…. Into the wind. We should’ve punted. I don’t blame him for missing that one. The first miss was obviously a killer.

Totally gapped on that rule. Ugh.

I think there would be very little difference in our QB play with 55 year old Anthony Calvillo at QB instead of Poo Brown. Some might even say it would be an improvement!

Silly question but do you have a smart TV with TSN? If so you can watch that way

I have a smart tv as I have Netflix, Hulu & Disney+. Thankfully separately & not bundled in with Crave or anything like that so I can at least still watch tv. I do have TSN on cable thru Shaw (now Rogers) but still are separate companies billing wise.

Generally, it's never one player or one play that loses a game. It's a series of events. Usually, when a team loses by a field goal, the question is why didn't they score a touchdown? Why did plays break down in the Score Zone? That's where you should be laying the blame. How prepared were we to play in all 3 phases of the game? Did the coahes prepare a very good game plan? Did we adapt during the game? Did we under utilize Brady. What was our blocking like up front? I never saw the game thanks to my cable not working but those are the questions I'm asking.

What a **** show this game turned out to be.

Hey, best we'll ever be under Osh & Walters will be an average team. I'm thinking those 2 got lucky winning 2 Grey Cups because they sure seem clueless what to do with a team that could go all the way with some luck & great coaching. What will they do when the team starts losing like the Ti Cats & there's nothing but bad coaching? Oh yeah, they got 2 years & four games left on their shiny new contracts. Knowing Wade Miller, his besties will always have jobs with the Bombers.
