Vaval should be good to go for the 2nd half as per DT.

  • That was the absolute worst ******* two downs Condell has called all year Collaros gets rocked, you know he’s gonna be a bit slow and we just give him a ******* insanely long-to-develop play call two

I'm in Toronto this weekend and boy I had to go hunting for a place I could watch the game and this is what they do to me

How can such an arrogant dork last for 20 years as an offensive coordinator? Is there no one else on the planet?

Limited talent pool in the old boy's network.

First time at the LDC and holy **** that stadium is ******* disgusting. We saw two Rider fans get kicked out of their own section, and a third threw a can of beer that hit a Bomber fan. I get being invested in the game but, there are certain levels of decency that you should always remain above in society.

Never again.

I experienced that years ago in 2008. I had been there for many years prior but have never gone again after that year.

Our OL is just brutal. They got to Zach every which way but loose. Up the middle over Center between the Guards & Tackles & off the edge. Bryant can't block worth ... you know what... anymore. Neither can our Center. Yet, BNryant & Elsbury start every game. It's a wonder Zach is still upright. The OL can't open any holes for Brady.

As a unit, they may be the worst in the CFL. It's mind boggling that the OL has been allowed to deteriorate to the point that we're back to 2014 when it comes to protecting our qb's health. Zach shouls call Drew Willy to compare notes.

We've wasted Singer on the PR all season long & we know what's going to happen when Demski's back. With Osh making the decisions it'll mean Singer will be on the PR & we'll be back to the 3 Canadian receiver bullshit with our star Canadian receiver Gavin Cobb. leading the way Finally, there was Oliveira & his lack of use by Condell. he just gave up on the running game. The game plan (if we had one) was really just a wing & a prayer by our OC.

I'd never been more sad than seeing the GC in sask that the bombers were in. I was completely unprepared and basically flabbergasted by the vulgarity and poor behavior the riders fans showed the bombers fans.

I legit didn't think there was a fanbase like that in the league.

Then the Grey Cup was in winnipeg and all the rednecks from sask booed carney while the rest of the fans laughed at them. Bomber fans were nothing but supportive and respectful to the riders fans.

Truly a second rate fanbase. It's because they're too small time. If they had an NHL team maybe they'd understand that their actions weren't normal but here we are

Thankfully they'll be the laughingstock of the country forever because they'll never get the population for an NHL team

Ive been to 4 LD Games in Regina. Two were fine with no issues. However, not so the other 2 times. I had a beer poured on me in 2006 from above as I was entering the tunnel at Taylor Field. Luckily I was wearing a Bomber cap so I barely got wet. In 1974 at Taylor Field (Jonas' last game as a Bomber,) he threw the winning TD & then kicked a walk off convert to win by one point... A more scarier incident happened. As soon as the game was over, a crazed fan who obviously drank too much (ya think?) broke a whiskey bottle he had snuck in & pointed the broken shard of glass at me holding it by the neck wanting to stab me. Oh yeah, LD in Regina. Whether it's old Taylor Field or the new Mosaic Stadium, some of the worst pea brain fans who live in Regina are total losers.

Singer will come off the roster. Nield & Cobb will be back with Demski. Osh will have his usual arrogant grin.... While Sinatra sings, "My Way" in the background.

I think Nield was open on a corner route on the last play too but for the combination of an offensive line unable to block and a QB with little ability to make quick reads. What a winning combination that is.

Edit to add: and whatever it is that Condell is supposed to be.

Blame Condell too

This team is kind of infuriating because the vibes are so off, but if they were to even be like league average in the red zone, not even exceptional, I wouldn't put it past them to be 10-2 instead of 6-6. Both losses to the Elks, the loss to the Lions and this one are ether just collapses or inefficiencies. I think the first Ticats game and the Stamps loss are really the only two games that feels like you couldn't put your finger on the scale for one or two plays and the Bombers end up on top.

The fix for that would be some sort of consequence for continually not making those plays but here we are

Woodbey might be the worst “trust me bro” keep around by this regime. Weak effort on the Wiebe play basically gave the Sask offense life in this game.

Guy has been here going on 2 full seasons and hasn’t even made one play as an American LB. What the **** are we doing on the personnel side?

That Woodbey play is almost inexplicable. I don't want him to see the field again after that.

I’m trying to understand what he was doing. As Vaval couldn’t wrap the sask player up with Woodbey coming in it’s like he glitched with a little shoving movement as the ball carrier just breezed by him. I’m assuming his angle sucked ass? Anyway that one was hard to watch.

Daniels getting dropped in his tracks by one guy, woodbey with a love tap on a receiver to not push him out, neild not being able to catch in traffic, the OL getting blown up constantly... Just soft soft soft.

Yea that Daniel’s play looked encouraging right when he caught it, had a blocker and some space but that feeling of encouragement quickly evaporated as his eyes took his body straight into the defender with little resistance from those tree trunk legs of his.

My wife verbatim: why is that guy so slow? 😂

the two worst things to be in football are soft, and passive. And we are both.

Collaros and Condell both need to be called out severely for their approach to dealing with clear and obvious pressure.

It’s quite clear in this game we weren’t adjusting at all to what the defense was bringing even when I could see it coming 4 seconds before the snap on a shitty TV angle.

Vet QB and game plan both need to be able to deal with that. OL can only do so much going on silent all night vs 6 rushers.

Ball needs to come out way faster. Very little screen game but was effective the couple times they did run one on first down to get to second and manageable.

Collaros wants to read coverage with the ball in his hands and depending on what the D is bringing that just isn’t possible.

he has decent hands, too bad he doesn’t really have any thing else going for him.

I’m a big believer in the 11 formation and what TEs could do in the cfl with a modern offence. Sadly, daniel’s is one of our worst picks in the mafia era. He hasn’t once shown good physicality even against guys 60-80lbs lighter than him. He’s got no positive athletic traits, no raw talent, and no skills other than decent hands.

Schmekel is a limited tool guy, but he’s got tons of heart and hustle. He battles on every snap physically. I’d rather run him at te then daniel’s.

.....following those two negatives are slow and inconsistent ....and we need a true nose tackle than can put pressure on the opposing quarterback....Harris and his BIG buddy Stevenson were having a field day.....did we get to Harris once??

I don’t think we got a good back field hit on him.

We have lawson who is pretty good as a nose. We could use an imp nose, or atleast a bull rushing dt to rotate. Lawson, wj, and Jake are 3 excellent dl, but we don’t have a fourth guy yet. Reese played his worst game, which is to be expected from a rookie. We really need a high motor bull rush guy to complement those 3. Wj and Jake basically disappeared vs saskatchewans physicality on the line.

Useage on the dl isn’t great again either. We ran more 30 and a lot of tite front. But we don’t twist or stunt or rush interior gaps with the tite look. We just send the 3 at inside gaps and occasionally send the apex off the edge, but almost never any effect as they more often try to take on the tackle rather than take a pursuit angle to the qb.

And we don’t keep inside backers in position to take up side gaps with the tite front either. Teams know to pull/slant/trap/leverage them with wide or out side zone and gash us in the run game.

When hall did stuff like this in the past he had the finer details installed you needed to succeed with 3-4 rushers. Now we have most of the talent to create disruption with 4 plus or minus 1, but don’t employ any of the tactics needed to make the strategy work. We just throw our guys out and hope they figure out a way to win.
