Heard yesterday morning out of Regina a Rider player had been in a wreck and that it was likely the Rider players fault, didn't know who until afternoon. Then a lot of locals went off on a "brown guy

If I felt like this team was giving it it's all and doing everything possible to put the best product on the field and still losing that's one thing.... But when it looks like everyone is just punching the clock... Yeah that's unacceptable

Watch how Montreal runs tunnel screens right up the middle of the field throwing to a guy who is running with a head of steam going vertically instead of firing screens out 30 yards across the field to a guy who is flat footed with the defense given all the time in the world to get out there to make the tackle or even make a play on the ball.

The only thing that could derail the Als from winning a Grey Cup this season are injuries to key personnel or complacency & arrogance. They looked terrific offensively tonight. they just feasted on the RedBlacks. They have a terrific young & fast tean. Then there's us who look like we play the game in the sand at Grand Beach.

Als looked good, but the Redblacks literally need to give themselves a chance

They’d be sub .500 without Alexander. Their D and special teams are not good. Their offense takes the life out of their opponents and can carry the rest of the team.

Interesting comparison with the Bombers this week. Als pushed for 2 early TD’s. Bombers could have done the same and B.C. probably out of the game just like how Ottawa out of that game early.

Osh coached scared. There was good reason to be.

Which tells me some of the players have tuned him out....never a good sign for a head honcho....Showing little or no confidence in your players will do that.....The 2 field goals from the five yard line was the tip off

He's been here going on 13 years. At some point, Osh needed to go a year ago. The message gets old & stale. .

This would have been a perfect opportunity to move on or atleast give a 1 year deal to prove he can make changes and turn the ship around. The fact the Riders won in our back yard and we as an organization was content on handing out 3 year extensions is concerning to me. We’ve really been seeking the decline since 2023 of this football team. Death of a thousand cuts.

to me, it looks like the team has lost confidence in the coaching.

You are being too generous by two years.

The Trinity isn't a normal boss/employee relationship that we see in all other businesses. I mean, you can go to your boss's place for a bbq, go for a few bwers after work or out to dinner. As long as you produce, all is fine. However if you don't, the same boss who bought you a beer or paid for your dinner will put you out on the street without thinking about it twice because he has a boss he has to answer to.

The bottom line is do your job, do it well & produce or be gone. There's no way that the Bomber organization is like that. We don't even know what the true relationship is between Miller, Walters & Osh. It certainly isn't like anywhere else. These guys are best buddies & obviously have each other's backs. Miller knew that giving Walters & Osh their 3 year deals wasn't the right thing to do but he still did it. I could have lived with two but not 3.

Can tell you the guys on offence would be none to pleased...having a nutless coach is as much a cancer as some aresebag in the dressing room

The Bombers need an actual qb coach on the sidelines to talk to Brown & Elgersma & to calm them down or pick them up. Condell is too busy calling plays to worry about them on game days. he has the entire offense to worry about. think about it. We have a running backs coach yet we don't have a qb coach. Our qbs need help during the games yet they don't get it. Someone needs to tell Brown getting an extra 2 yards running forward instead of sliding isn't worth it if he misses 3 games because of a lower back injury. He has to be a lot, lot smarter than that.

Only a head coach who played MLB & coached ST's wouldn't realize that.

Whoops, sorry.

Dru's back was injured a few plays earlier on a sack. He re-injured it on the run.

Why didn't he slide? He does us no good being on the 6 game IL. He has to be a lot smarter than that.

Watching McCheese slide 8 yards short to set up 3rd and long when Ottawa was desperate made me glad to have Dru instead

Maier needs to protect the football better, but you can't have your QB getting clobbered in 3rd and goal situations.

Ottawa Redblacks release three-time All-CFL receiver Euge...

The Ottawa Redblacks have released American receiver Eugene Lewis and American defensive back Shakur Brown. Lewis had appeared in six games this season, catching 20 passes for 231 yards. In Friday’s l

RBs cut Lewis. Walters should get his dumpster diving boots on cus thats worlds better then starting 3 canadian WRs.

Geno Lewis released by Ottawa.

Beat me by like 1 second! haha

Here are his contract details from this year. He's already made bank from the RBs. Im sure he will still want a decent chunk, but shouldn't be crazy. Not having a great year, but familiar with Brown and hes half a foot taller then most of our WRs.

Hard money: $205,000
Maximum value: $212,000

"Does an $85,000 signing bonus make you a superstar? We’d like to think so, and so does Lewis. The 33-year-old will make $90,000 in salary this year, plus $15,000 in housing, $10,000 in marketing, and a $5,000 travel allowance. He can also collect up to $6,000 in standard escalating award and all-star incentives, plus another $1,000 for surpassing 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth time in his career."

Lewis would give us that big body, 50-50 WR we've been looking for.

The answer isn't bringing in an overpaid & over the hill 33 year old receiver for just this season for a playoff run that will last one game. We hitched our wagon to Cobb & like 3 more years of Osh we're stuck with both of them.

Every team would be sub 500 without a capable starter at qb. I don't get that argument.

Question for those who’ve watched Geno Lewis outside of when Ottawa plays Winnipeg… does he still have it? Asking because Ottawa is so bad it’s tough to tell.

Obviously he isn’t a long term solution but is there any risk that signing him could be another Adarius Bowman/Chris Matthews type of bust?
