May 5May 5 With Rookie Camps getting underway Wednesday, it's time to talk about the 2026 CFL season!
May 26May 26 Seems to me this is a linebacker who is thinking about it in terms of who is going to be more elusive. Brady isn't that elusive, he'll just run you over.

Allen counts down his top five running backs to play against in the CFL.When explaining what makes Brady Oliveira special and why he’s been included in the linebacker’s rankings, Allen only had one thing to say.“They give him the ball a ton,” laughed Allen. Why don't other teams give their running back the ball more? Are they stupid?
May 26May 26 1 hour ago, Booch said:putz...I think he over rated as well...decent but not the start many make him out to beBO gets the ball a lot...yeah cause he gets it done...and like you said...best avg yards per carry...yards after contact..etc....You have a workhorse bell-cow back...you use him. The others don't get used as much because.....well they don't get it done as consistently...it's as simple as thatYup and is not the saying ‘you hate him cuz you ain’t him’ appropriate here?

If we stay reasonably healthy and Zach performs at a higher level than the last 2 years, this will be the best team we've put on the field since 21 imo.

May 26May 26 Just now, Tracker said:Walters is going to regret his departure for a long, long time.I dunno. Did Hamilton win the grey cup? Argument could be made that paying 1 receiver that much is a detriment to the rest of the team. He’s 1 receiver out of 5 or 6 who line up. To justify that money you almost have to throw him the ball all game long every game and while that works occasionally it doesn’t all the time. That’s great for Kenny but the QB needs to be upright to throw him the ball and I feel the cats oline will once again be their downfall. And D. Cats are all O. Bo throws for 5000 yards and they lose. May 26May 26 Walters screwed up royally letting Kenny walk. PERIOD. Anyone thinking that Kenny Freaking Lawler lessens your chances of winning is crazy. The guy is an X factor and does so much more than catch the ball. Would I pay him 333k a season? With the new cap....I think I would. Edited May 26May 26 by GCn20

Jake would still be starting. Cuz that’s Broxxton plus ceresna really. Or it’s 1 plus like nield. So I dunno. Lawler goes MIA for long stretches. Edited May 26May 26 by Goalie
May 26May 26 Author Lawler is great... Happy that he's happy. But let's simmer the hyperbole a little bit. He would have been helpful last year with no Schoen, but we can win without him.
May 26May 26 I enjoyed Kenny as a bomber but the greatest bomber receiver I’ve ever seen is number 85 Milt Stegall and it’s not close. Milt was consistent game in game out. Dude didn’t really ever go MIA. Never was an off field distraction either. Some folks didn’t like his humour or cockiness if you will but never caused problems. Stuck around even when we sucked. Wanted to win so badly as a bomber. I enjoyed Kenny and I get why guys chase the bank if you will but I respect a guy like milt who probably could have but didn’t. Wanted to win here. Kenny seems to just chase the money. I get it. It’s all good but I think I prefer guys who putting winning first. All the power to him, some GM paid him. That’s great. A sucker is born every day. Good for Kenny but he’s not the greatest bomber receiver ever or even close.

What he would have been, by far, is the best receiver now.
May 26May 26 Kenny is easily a top 3 receiver in this league and i miss him, but i wouldnt pay him 333K X3.
May 26May 26 Kenny is an unreal talent and I loved watching him play. Consistent he ain't though. 2025 was is first season playing every game. Letting someone walk to become the highest paid non-QB in the league isn't the same thing as saying you don't want him on your team.

With the new cap....I think I would.Honestly, I think you could go either way and justify it with ease. At the end of the day, you are gonna overpay a couple of guys no matter what. Kenny is the type of player I would want to overpay for. That type of skill set is incredibly valuable in any league or level of football. Dominant WR who can go up and get most any ball in his rough direction? Is Poor Man Randy Moss? Want that kind of player. Now the person behind that is much harder. While I don't consider him a bad guy or toxic. But the lack of loyalty, the inability to stay healthy, and the lackadaisical approach he had to sorting out his passport issues are huge red flags. Especially after the team stood behind him with his DUI suspension. I love how he plays, but I would not trust him as a franchise cornerstone.
