Ya so the 500 million does seem to be accurate. Being reported that it's a bump of 3.5 million per team, from this.

Is DZN taking a game from TSN every week, or are they just airing the TSN on their service? I don't see how them taking the game would be beneficial for the CFL. Streaming the TSN feed makes sense....but just taking a game a week would suck.

DAZN is taking the game exclusively. TSN has the broadcast rights to the remaining games. That means DAZN will have their own commentators, production, and so on. Think like the Amazon Prime NHL games on Monday nights.

I have been thinking of canceling my cable because I only watch sports on it. IPTV is great, but I can't let go of my pvr!!!

.....I think that there will be quite a few fans dropping out of the DAZN broadcast, when a new subscription is required to get one game...AND if that remains the case I will just wait for next day hi-lites

My contract says that being moved to Riderfans or anything associated with the Riders is a HELL NO.

i can’t imagine it would come into place before the deal is being paid out.

Can’t believe they got that kind of money. I could see the league wanting to slowly increase the cap with respect to this gain. soo many teams are in bad shape, I think the governors will want to pocket some money before passing it on.

new streaming service plus massive rule over haul, I think the old guard (ie us) are going to be hit pretty hard for a while. But maybe it’ll allow the league to reach the demographic it needs in order to out live us.

Then again, you are all stubborn bastards, every last one of you. (not me though… :p ) so the old guard might surprise the league with refusal to let go.
