I’m at camp today. First observation is DeShaan Dixon has the shortest shorts I’ve ever seen on a football player.

That would be insane if they did it again in a stadium this size. I've got 1 game in June vs Edm, 2 back to back at the end of July, and Banjo Bowl... So far. Looking into using my remaining vacation days for the fiscal year on an August trip home for another game ... Better hustle on the tix i suppose.

Should the Bombers look at expanding PAS to 40000? To take advantage of their popularity?

All of this seems like not very good news...

Personally I think they are trying to decide whether to play 3 Nat receivers or 3 Nat OL. That would give the illusion we are starting 9 because you have to give each set of 3 a long look. Day 5 at the beginning of camp is probably not what we are going to 5 days before the end of camp.

IMHO, if we went with 3 NAT receivers either Cobb/Corcoran/Clercius would have to have incredible camps or our contingent of new IMP recruits a total disaster

Well, so far a 3rd American hasn't even received an opportunity. That said, they just cut Mcghee from the secondary and he had taken every rep with the defensive starters.

Still, I look at as their plan is to start 2 Americans, 2 Nats, and then rotate between Vibert, Daniels, Chris-Ike, and Cobb. I don't think the 5 receiver set will be the most common alignment.

Not at all. Ontaria seems to be having a great camp, but also mixed with going down every other day.

We have no receiver depth to absorb losing one of White, Wilson, Demski.

If they go White/Wilson/Demski/Nield and make the 5th spot a rotation of Clercius/Daniels/MCI, then they should go 3 american olineman. No reason to start both 3 Canadian olineman and receivers given our talent at both spots.

Starting 3 canadian receivers is just plain dumb....especially if not needed...Even with 3 import olineman not needed. Would make us a way weaker offene as that 3rd giy would just be a position taker and no real threat.

Even 3 import oline guys is kinda dumb if it doesnt make us significantly better, as it just denies our defence an import where it would have a way bigger impact

If you declare 2 on defence...and 5 on offence for Canadians, as well as use the Nationlized american we can sub pretty freely regardless, so the extra 2 starting Canadians is pointless...especially if they are not the best players available....and in all honesty they won't be...experienced or not...they wont

I hope and think we really are looking to put Kramdi at safety...if not full time...a lot as that makes sense as well as he is probably talent and impact wise our 4th best option there...3rd at best...and dont care that he is super smart and knows all the positions....slap him at safety then so he can oversee what we are lined up in and shout out corrections if his smartness see's an alignment error

Thats one my main issues with Osh and hoped it was gonna change....the need in his mind to use extra Canadians even though they not the best....

Looks like Kramdi is likely moving to Safety. He's been filling that spot every day at TC.

I don't understand this continuing story line that they're starting 3 American OL. I don't see it happening at all.

Best place for him really...He can come down in support and be over the top help....and survey the defence...At SAM he is not ideal and was horrible in coverage and isnt the best tackler....he's good in the scrum and crashing into the box...but that can be incorporated from a safety role...especially when we tend to run a strong and free safety kinda set up

You want one your best all around guys, Guys who can cover 1 on 1 and are strong tacklers and can get off blocks....Kramdi ain't that

Not sure if people realize it's 8 Canadians now....you can use the nationalized for one of those.

3 OL - RB - 2 WR - Lawson & Kramdi. Though it does appear they're going 3 WR.

Yep. Id hope that means Allen sides back to corner, Or that Griffin does.

DB is going to see some really tough cuts. WIth a DI used at Lber for teams, K, and KR, the last spot really should be on the DL if not a WR. But we also have Allen, Woodbey, and Griffin with out a roster spot in that case. I love Ayers, but Woodbey can do soo much more on D. And Griffin is an excellent db. I wouldn't want to lose either for Ayers. Maybe not even Allen given the volume of league starters and NI talent we have at Lber.

I dont think we can translate camp to final roster intentions with the mafia, and it's still early. I think health and who is willing to sit on the PR will dictate a lot of what we do breaking camp.

It has been confirmed in recent interviews and reports that the coordinators decide who starts and where and that OSH fills the rest of the game day roster. Bottom line is that it is still OSH's responsibility, but his coordinators have much more say than you are suggesting. I agree that we should start the minimum number of NATs as possible unless some guys really truly win the job that happen to be NATs.

Weird. Cam Allen looked pretty awesome last season at safety. Why would you fix something that isnt broken?

He'll be a rotational guy to start.... or maybe always?

We were able last yr to roster Griffin.. wooodbey and Ayers all together so hopefully we can continue..they are our 3 most versatile guys outside of dline...and yeah curious how Allen is used..or where

Can't read too much into a couple of reported reps. Every DE ever gets swallowed up and heck of a lot more than they dominate. All QBs would be in the hospital if this weren't the case. He will definitely be rotational for all this season though. The last two really good NAT DE's I have in recent memory are Ricky Foley and Mathieu Betts and both were rotational until year 3 of their careers.

Wallace has definitely morphed his body...moves way better. Its his job to lose in my opinion..looks way smoother than last yr

I like they have Tui on the hands team for onside kicks ...lol...u would think Daniels be out there but not on this first unit

Gabe Wallace apparently started camp last year at 345 and ballooned as the season went on. This year, he's apparently come into camp at 325 after undergoing a strict offseason regimen. Neufeld says he's one of the strongest/most powerful guys he's ever seen.

He needed to drop weight and it should show up on the field. I think he will take a huge step forward this season.

And he knows Todd Krenbrink

Yeah watching some the one on one drills today u definitely see his power when he locked into his guy...guys a beast. And he is noticeably more agile

Big Stan looked good..as Usual...hard to imagine he pushing 40...If he is even 80 percent of prime Stan him and Broxton gonna be a force

I really like Allen. His ceiling is immense, and he was instantly a very useful player. That said, we are also instantly better if Griffin is at sam, and kramdi at S. Kramdis game fits better at S, and griffin is extremely good covering from the lber spot.

Such a hard position to be in for JY. If the game slows down a little for Allen this year, he likely has the kind of year and launches his into the NFL and onto an AR as a back up.

We did, but that was with like 6 DL and 3 imps, with no back up imp WR and with 1 less imp lber. Lber has become a trap spot on the roster for us.

With last years NI lbers returning (Novak, Shay, Smith), plus Boulaine and clark drafted this year, we shouldn't be dressing a 3rd imp lber. But Ayers is a baller too. Id rather cut Ayers though, then lose Allen, Woodbey, or Griffin.

Looks like he lost weight overall and added some lean mass.

Daniels might not run well enough right now, or maybe they just want to limit his intake for now and let him adjust to a role he can fill right away then broaden him out later.

I really hope they don't use two DI spots on linebackers this year.

Idk how we can afford even 1, especially if its just a teams guy. We are now loaded with teams guys.
